One piece of conventional advice that I disagree with is “Follow the Industry Norms”. While it is crucial to stay up to date within the automotive industry and maintain up-to-date equipment, merely adhering to established practices can stifle innovation. One piece of conventional advice I disagree with is to start when you’re ready. I think I would have missed out on a lot of opportunities had I waited until I felt “ready”. I think life has a way of leading us to the people and things that are meant for us, so if you have an idea or an urge to do something, do it now.
