If you are looking for success in any area of your life, you need to take risks. Taking risks and following your gut feelings, even when you are vulnerable, brings to your life amazing and new opportunities. In my company, I have been experiencing risk on a personal and professional level. On a personal level because of the “Mom guilt.” Your time and schedule organization is very important in order to not experience that “mom guilt.” You always need to be able to divide your personal time from your professional time. My advice is to always schedule quality time with your family first so you can be able to enjoy your work time. On the other side, regarding the professional level, you live the risk month-to-month, especially when you are making decisions that have to do with monetary investments; and also, when you are investing your time. I have never feared taking a risk with owning my own business. Sure, there is always that thought in the back of your mind if you fail or don’t succeed, especially if you have a family to take care of. The way I see it you have two choices, keep safe and continue to work for someone else and let them control your future income, “which is that really safe?”, or step out of your comfort zone and follow your passion to live this one life you’re given based on the decisions you make for yourself. I truly believe that we are all given a specific talent to own our own business, unfortunately most people just lack the passion and drive to make it happen.
