We had the good fortune of connecting with Zondra Evans and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Zondra, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Zondra TV Network was designed specifically for Small Business Entrepreneurs as our way of leveling the playing field. Why shouldn’t a small business have the same access to marketing and advertising at an affordable small business price. (ZTV) Zondra TV provides a platform for businesses to come alive and potentially be accessed by millions globally on a daily basis. They transform products and services from a one-dimensional commodity in the mind of target audiences into a multi-dimensional solution that they can connect with, that they can imagine using in their own lives, that they can imagine not being able to live without. Video done right can make a business unforgettable.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Developing one streaming platform was a challenge and now we are on 7 different streaming platforms such as: ROKU, Amazon Fire and Apple TV to name a few. Developing an affordable experience for Small Business means that a streamlined process and running a tight resource ship was extremely important. We have been creative about making sure that the experience is not your typical “One and Done” process. That’s why we have created multiple micro experiences to make sure that the small business experience as much as possible for $100’s of dollars.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well there’s so much to do and see in the Dallas Metroplex. Let’s start with a shopping spree at Northpark Mall, followed by visiting one of the best kept secrets for women’s accessories – Yes, you guessed “Sam Moon”. Then a nice stroll at The Shops of Legacy for a little more window shopping, followed by a great meal at “Earl’s Kitchen”… It’s lively and the food is great. Of course, part of the Texas experience is to take a drive to Fort Worth’s legendary Stockyard District and experience a bit of western flair. Also, the Hyatt Hotel better known as “The Ball”, we would have apps and drinks as we spin around the dallas metroplex. Then a girls afternoon at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are two people that I feel deserves a shout out for helping me shape the vision and reframe my mindset for success. 1) Angel Tuccy is my PR Manager and Media Coach. She has been instrumental in helping me embrace this new streaming technology given her experience in radio and TV. She has worked side-by-side with me to highlight in the media the journey and path that ZTV is creating for small business 2) Les Brown!! He has been my silent mentor for well over 20 years. He has elevated my thinking by providing helpful nuggets on how to gracefully take a journey in uncharted territory. There are two things that stick in my mind: The power of OQP (Only Quality People) and reframing FEAR (Face Everything And Rise). Les thank you for being a voice of change in the business community.
