We had the good fortune of connecting with Young Trotter and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Young, do you disagree with some advice that is more or less universally accepted?
There’s so many to name but the biggest piece of traditional advice that I completely disagree with is putting your money in a bank or thinking that doing business with a bank is best for you or your family. Firstly, you have to understand how and why the Federal Reserve is a private company that we’ve been swindled into believing is mandatory for us to operate when it’s not.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The art that I create is Hip Hop music. What sets me apart not only my authenticity, but my ability to bring authenticity in a lyrical way in my music . People who can identify with me, feel a sense of relatability. I am most proud about my team come together , and putting together this project. I’m excited to see what is in store this year, the opportunities that will come my way. Seeing the different people’s lives I can touch , and influence will be my greatest accomplishment. Nothing in life is easy , in my opinion, I got here by staying focus , knowing my destination , hard work dedication, and little finesse . One of the biggest lessons I have learned was to always trust your gut, and go with your first mind. What you put in you will get out, so make sure you are what you want to be. I think my brand speaks for itself The Realist Of Them To Ever Reign. Be real with yourself, be real with others. Be real with the grind . No matter where you are coming from or where you been, all that matters is right now . What you are doing right now , yesterday was yesterday . Tomorrow is not promised , so what are you doing right now?

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take my friend to The Galleria, being that it is the best mall in Dallas. Hit up Deep Ellum , slide through uptown, hit Big T bizarre. Big Daddy’s for the some quick food , True and Pangea on some bougie black owned shit, and Tru. Most exciting thing for me to take a friend would be the Dallas Football stadium .

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
When it’ it comes to private banking and me becoming the bank. I owe all my gratitude to Jake Taylor Jacobs with the ABS Tribe for teaching me the real rules to this Money Game and giving me the tools to Become my own bank as well as teaching others how to do the same.
