We had the good fortune of connecting with Tite and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tite, why did you pursue a creative career?
I chose to become a musical artist because of my love for music. Ever since I was a kid I would listen to music and write poetry all of the time. I’ve got 2 notebooks worth of poetry that I’ve written that I’ve never put out. To me writing music is like writing poetry and then you get to bring it to life by adding music to it. No matter where I’ve been in life music has always had an emotional influence on me and I’ve seen it have the same reaction with others.

What should our readers know about your business?
POME Music Group is record label founded in 2018 by a group of entrepreneurs who wanted to conceptualize their love for music into a business. The name POME is an acronym meaning Poetry Of My Emotions. The idea that music is a form of poetry and poetry must contain some form of emotional integrity to connect with the listeners is how the name was established. POME’s looks to consistently produce a quality of music that will never substitute its premium sound or uniqueness to fit in. That is what separates us from others. The biggest lesson that I have learned is to keep pushing for your goal(s) with hard work and focus and you will eventually achieve them. The world should know that POME is the real deal and it’s coming…

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Honestly since I live out in Frisco, I’d bring them out here. I hate planning trips so I would probably just get one or 2 of my friends to come along and we’d play it by ear. They’re much better at this type of thing more than me. I’ve always been a get up and just go in the moment person. I don’t like to plan what I’m going to do unless it’s related to business.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would first give credit to Chris Wilkinson aka DJ Bull of Dirty 3rd Records for giving me my first opportunity to get into music professionally. Second I would to give some love to George Lopez and Trini Delgado who gave me my second opportunity to continue with my music career at their label T Town Music. I feel like everyone that I have had contact with during my journey all need some credit but I don’t have enough time characters to list them all Lol! Currently I feel that the added knowledge I’ve received from producer/songwriter J. Oliver aka Fresh Ayr has been a driving force for what I am accomplishing now. Last I would shout out my guy Rob “Hollywood” Hope for being the networking connection that I needed. There comes a time when you have to apply all that you have learned and push for the goal and they all have been great supportive factors in that.
