We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiree Hooper and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiree, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success. Is that I am a two time breast cancer survivor, which taught me and motivated me to share my skills and talents with the world. I make each product with lots of tender love and care.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I create and design unique Afro mugs for all my kings and queens. I also hand make cosmetic items from scratch. It excites me to have the opportunity to bring my creations and visions to life. I got where I am today with nothing but a vision and motivation, it wasn’t easy but it was worth every struggle. I overcame my the challenges I faced with prayer and pure Will power. I’ve learned once you hit rock bottom there’s nowhere to go but up. I want the world to know I overcame everything they was thrown at me and with that I take pride in all my products and services.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Shout out to each and every customer that has ever purchased from me. You are what motivates me to keep creating and designing.
