We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Kroeger Suzanne Canon and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tiffany Kroeger, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When we decided to start our own business, it stemmed from a shared passion for fashion and the desire to create something uniquely ours. We each began our journey with separate online boutiques on Poshmark, which is where we first crossed paths. It didn’t take long for us to realize that we had not only similar styles but also complementary skills and a shared vision for what a boutique experience could be. Our friendship blossomed, and we quickly became besties. We both felt there was something special about joining forces, so in 2016, we took the leap and founded Infinity Raine. Our goal was to build a brand that reflects our love for fashion, our commitment to quality, and our desire to connect with our customers in a meaningful way.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We are incredibly proud of our storefront, which holds a special place in our hearts. We purchased a historic building in Gainesville, TX, just two months before the pandemic hit. We spent four intense months renovating the space ourselves, pouring in our blood, sweat, and plenty of tears. It was a challenging time, but doing the work ourselves made us appreciate this beautiful building even more.
There are moments when we walk through the store and just take it all in, feeling an overwhelming sense of pride in what we’ve accomplished. Opening our store in the middle of a pandemic was one of the scariest things we’ve ever done. We had no idea what the future held, but our faith kept us going. Now, four years later, we’ve just celebrated the anniversary of our Gainesville location, and it’s been an incredible journey.
Living in a small town, we are deeply community-driven. We believe that we are all stronger together, and we are so blessed to have an amazing team and incredible customers who have been with us from the beginning. When people reach out to tell us they’ve followed our journey, it reminds us of how far we’ve come. Sometimes we get so caught up in the day-to-day that we forget to stop and appreciate what we’ve built. But hearing from our community helps us see and celebrate the progress we’ve made.
What sets us apart is our commitment to our community and the personal touch we bring to everything we do. Our brand is a reflection of our values, our passion, and the love we have for what we do. We want the world to know that Infinity Raine is more than just a business—it’s a story of perseverance, faith, and the power of togetherness.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Day 1: Exploring Historic Downtown
• Start the day with a stroll along California Street and around the square, where you’ll find some incredible boutiques (including Infinity Raine, of course!). The charm of Historic Downtown Gainesville is undeniable, with unique shops that cater to every style and taste.
• For lunch, we’d head to either St. Joe’s Pizza for some of the best pizza in town or Sarah’s on the Square for some delicious Southern comfort food in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere.
• After lunch, we’d satisfy our sweet tooth and grab some amazing coffee at Sweet Jayne’s Bakery—their treats are a must-try!
• In the afternoon, do some shopping here at Infinity Raine and then walk right next door to Landon Winery to enjoy a glass of wine and unwind after a fun day of exploring.
• For dinner, we’d enjoy the delicious dishes at Goodies on Commerce, making for a perfect end to the day.
Day 2: Wine, Beer & Music
• Start with a leisurely breakfast at the Corner Stone Cafe, then spend the day exploring more of the local shops or take a short drive to nearby attractions.
• In the afternoon, we’d head over to Krootz Brewery to grab a crafted beer and enjoy the relaxed vibe.
• For dinner, stop by the Historic Main Street Pub and enjoy a laid-back meal with great drinks and lots of history.
• To cap off the evening, check out The County Seat for live music and some fantastic cocktails.
Day 3: A Day of Adventure
• We’d spend the day exploring some of the nearby attractions like The Morton Museum for some local history. Leonard Park and the Frank Buck Zoo—are both perfect for a fun day out, especially if you’re traveling with kids or just love animals and nature.
• After a day of adventure, we’d return to downtown for a relaxing evening, perhaps catching some more live music at one of the local spots.
Day 4: Pampering & Shopping
• A day of pampering would start at one of our favorite places, The Body Bar on Dixon, where you can indulge in some much-needed relaxation.
• For the ultimate in skincare, we’d visit our friends at Women’s Wellness and Aesthetics for an amazing HydraFacial that will leave you glowing.
• In the afternoon, we’d visit more of the local boutiques, picking up unique finds and enjoying the personalized service that makes shopping in Gainesville so special.
Day 5: Small Town Charm
• For the final day, we’d take it easy, starting with a delicious coffee from The Orchard. They have delicious lattes and healthy breakfast/lunch options.
• A leisurely afternoon walk through the historic neighborhoods, followed by an evening at The Bird House, a super cute loft Airbnb in the heart of downtown. This would be the perfect way to wrap up the trip.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We want to give a huge shoutout to our incredible husbands, who have been our unwavering support system throughout this journey. They’ve held down the fort, taken on endless “honey-do” lists, and have been our rocks when the going got tough. Their love, patience, and belief in us have been a constant source of strength, especially during those moments when we felt like giving up. We truly couldn’t have built Infinity Raine without their encouragement and the sacrifices they’ve made along the way.
