We had the good fortune of connecting with Taylin Watson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Taylin, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
I am inspired by all the random events that happen in my life, whether it be positive or negative, that others can relate to. Knowing I can share these events with people and make them crack a smile, or even a slight giggle, keeps me doing what I do!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I started out on TikTok during the pandemic when life was sad, scary, and there was not a lot to smile about. I had only been a physical therapist for a year, and the healthcare world was not doing well. I had started to make videos about nothing honestly. Just making dances with my best friend, lip syncs, anime, jokes about dating, anything I was interested in. I was not posting to do anything except escape the world and have some entertainment. I realized the more I acted like myself, shared events of my life, snippets that people in Dallas or Texas would understand, the more my following grew and people really engaged in my content. Now! Through TikTok and Instagram Reels, I have grown a small community of people who like to laugh and can relate to each other.

Recently, I posted about a horrible event that my car was stolen from my apartment garage. I still don’t even have it back yet. Whew. I basically made the video to laugh about it so I could stop myself from crying. The amount of support I received from people I didn’t even know, and the amount of people who have also had this happen to them was significant. It solidified the fact that my brand is all about relating to others through the good and the bad. We all been there! Me too homie!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
First grabbing brunch at Snooze, Whiskey Cake, or The Henry.

Day time activities at the Dallas Museum of Art, playing games at Cidercade, or going to rally at a Rangers or Mavs game.

Dinner at my most favorite restaurant Terrilli’s, but DeLucca is such a cool concept that everyone has to go. Drake’s and The Mexican food are delicious, but if we’re not feeling fancy, tacos and an elote from Fuel City is a MUST.

We would go dancing at It’ll Do or Double D’s depending what mood our music taste is in for the night!

If we want to be more chill but always good time – then grabbing a little cutie drink at Tiny Victories or Ginger’s.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my brother, my best friends, and even my coworkers who were always pushing me to keep posting content and supporting me to stay being silly and true to my own personality.
