We had the good fortune of connecting with Sarah Perez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sarah, why did you pursue a creative career?
I’m Pursue an artistic career cause for me to Dance, is to be apart of time, to be in unison with the universe. It’s to be a sound, a vibration and to travel beyond the clouds beyond the stars.
Dance is a way of living, it’s a rhythm of life, it’s to question oneself to go deep inside oneself.
Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
For me, Dancing is like talking in silence, saying lots of things whiteout saying a word .
It’s helping me to say what I feel, and know me better, of who I am inside of me.
When I dance I don’t try to outdo anyone other myself.
It’s a permanent struggle against my body.
An incessant struggle, to reach this state of grace and freedom when I dance.
Always pushing yourself, always pushing what we believe to be our limits .
Dancing for me is demanding more and more but above all it’s believing in Yourself and believing in your dreams
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would say, close to the sea with a sunset and a picnic . Cause for me it’s so relaxing to hear the noise of the waves, to see the beautiful blue color of the water, and look the unlimited horizon.
It’s so peaceful and a perfect spot for me to share with my best friend.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to thanks, and dedicate this story to my parents cause they always believed in me,helped and support me, to pursue my dreams
