We had the good fortune of connecting with Rayan Lecurieux-Durival and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rayan, what role has risk played in your life or career?
If you cannot take risk, nothing can happen, and you will never know how far you can go. Sometime that can be a good choice or a bad one bu that will be a lesson for the next times. In my young age and my experience until now I took a lot of risk it’s my Aquarius side lol.I love to push thing to the extra to know how far I can go and most of the time it work out because I’m fully in it and I want it. I never knew in my life that I was about to live in New York or work with some people that I love so much. I’m just going directly for it, I’m not taking way.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am not a rich person financially, but I’m rich for who I am and who I became every day. My process until now is not the most simplest. I never had something just like that. Everything that I have or had, I fight for it (Audition, Work, acknowledgment), I want my respect. When I was little Dancing wasn’t the most interesting job for a man. And now that I’m in it and that I’m living with it, everyone is happy or thing that I’m beautiful, a start but nobody didn’t help me, except my family and my hard work. And the most beautiful lesson is every hard work has a good offer at the end. And the beauty of it is that you didn’t wait on anyone to do what you really want to do.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My best friend, my life, my confidente!! For her 1st time in New York the fist thing will be, Times Square, following by the statue. We love Chinese food so definitely we will go in china town! To know all the story that happen and just share a intimate moment with her we will go in Central Park, riverside and hudson river. Then Coney Island and the most important she need to see a broadway show !!!!!!!!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
