We had the good fortune of connecting with Pierre Hamilton and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Fresco, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
What legacy am I leaving for my kids? I don’t want them to ever go thru the struggles I did. Now me, I give them struggles respect because they made me the man I am today, but the times & generation is different. Why am I not using my talents and mindset to increase my income. After listening to different motivational speakers like E.T ( Eric Thomas), listening to businessman like Rick Ross, various podcasts I had to sit down and find my passion, something that I enjoy.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Hmmm Up In Smoke, well Up In Smoke is a marketing group. We started out 1 event a week to now 6 days a week. Its mainly about the vibe for us. Granted we want max capacity at all of our events, but what’s most important to us is the vibe. Rather is 10 people in the room or 100, we gonna vibe fasho. Each individual in Up In Smoke brings a level of energy that plays a major role in creating these vibes. When everyone is on the same page, when the “math is mathing right” its litty. I’m most proud of the recognition we have been getting thus far an we ain’t stopping “We want more” we always working, we are not lazy. Business-wise we made it thus far by staying consistent, it hasnt been easy at all. But lets be honest if it was easy we wouldn’t respect nor cherise it. Hard work pays off! We know there’s always a challenge with anything, hell life itself is a challenge, everything is trial and error. This might work at this event but not this, or this person fits here but not there. This theme was lit this one was ok. I’m always critiquing things. Up In Smoke is the trunk of the tree, majority of the people know us from promoting & hosting events. But its so much more behind it. Private mobile hookah biz, Up IN Smoke merchandise, Fresco merchandise, online boutique, so much more in store as well. Stay Tuned!!!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best dawg was visiting of course he gonna be at all UP IN Smoke events. We up there all week long. And we most definitely drinking brown ( Dusse, Henney, Crown). The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost S/O to everybody that’s been rocking with me rather its REAL love or FAKE love, hatred whatever s/o everybody without the people alot of what I do wouldn’t be possible. But to narrow it down i have to give a MAJOR s/o to 6 individuals who been rocking with me heavily, whose been behind me pushing me to go harder, whose been my influence since the day we met. My lovely Juicy Savage BeBe, she been there every step of the way. Long nights & early mornings, from no sleep to barely getting 4 hours of sleep. Jim (Big Speaker), Diana (Big Bully), Shieka (Auntie Mama), Matt (Security) once we linked & connected it was up. It started with Jim, once Jim gave the stamp that he was rocking with me, the rest of the family came thru lol. If you know the fam you know why they got them nicknames. Last but not least HC3 (Herschel) aka Mr “I throw babyshower’s & dress like im 25” lol these individuals been major influencers & supporters to me. We been rocking before Up In Smoke launched. Their guidance and advice has never went unnoticed, might not followed every step or suggestion but it was heard fasho. Diana I didn’t do it!!! lol
