We had the good fortune of connecting with PATRICK BROUSSARD and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi PATRICK, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Early in our marriage, we’ve always hosted events at our home, cooking for friends and family. My brother-in-law came up with the idea that we should sell what we cook. After trying different (Cajun) restaurants in the DFW area, we noticed that there was a need for true New Orleans style cuisines. So we decided to take what we love to do and start our own business “Sneaux and Thangz”
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
First off, going into business for yourself is a scary task, but it’s something we’ve been wanting to do for a couple years. What keeps us busy would be the daily task of being creative with our menu from week to week, mapping out our delivery routes, making sure we stay on top of inventory and providing excellent customer service.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Since we’re from New Olreans, I feel it’s only right to start off with eating at Razzoos as soon as they arrive!! We love hanging out in Deep Elum checking out the shops and restaurants. We like to eat at Pecan Lodge, Gus fried chicken and going to Dough Boy Donuts in FT. Worth is a must. We love hanging out in North Park Mall…But we’re generally the party when friends visit….lol
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We would like to shoutout Golden Hour Esthetics. Owned by Destiny Gilliam.
