We had the good fortune of connecting with Olivia Anton and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Olivia, what do you attribute your success to?
For me in my business and anything I do or achieve the most important factor behind my success and my brand is, rather Who is behind my success and my brand is God, Yahweh The Most High.
Throughout my whole career as a stylist, God has given me the ability and talent and the provision over my business.
He is the master mind behind my business. He has provided business teachers to help guide me in my way in creating the business I want to have. I had the greatest opportunity to be introduced to Thrivers Society an online company by Britt Seva who is a business and marketing coach for the Beauty industry. A co -worker I worked with years ago introduced me to her and it totally transformed my strategy of my business building and helped me narrow down my brand and the services I wanted to offer. My business is geared towards helping women embrace their natural God given beauty in embracing their grey hair and offering Bob haircuts. This excitement unfolded over the past year or two as I felt drawn towards helping women feel beautiful and embracing their beauty. I can only say I feel at this time in my life God has given me an opportunity to give to women in a way I feel bountiful right now in my life.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I gear my services towards helping women embrace their God given beauty by embracing their natural grey. I have an interest for nutrition and using essential oils. I also have my own business selling essential oils and low tox home and body items through Young Living Essential Oils. I like to intertwine the two businesses when I can .

I got to where I am today by the provision of God and my friends and family!

Oh, I of course had challenges, who doesn’t? I over came them by just showing up and continually learning and trying again and again.

I have learned that I am not perfect and can never be perfect at what I do. All I can do is offer my best and fail and succeed time and time again. Not everything will work in business and that is okay I just need to find what does work best for my business.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oh there are tons of things to do in the DFW area and outside of it. It can depend on what that person likes.
I don’t have an itinerary but some famous things around the area would be go see some live music, the Fort Worth Stock Yards during the day are cool if they aren’t familiar with the area they have shopping etc., the Drover Hotel, coffee shops, and great restaurants. You are sure to find some type of cuisine and outing that fits your fancy!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
So, I have to say in regards to my business and who and what has helped me in my business are a few different people and things.

First, I want to give credit to God, Yahweh The Most High. He has always guided me and put people in my way to help me in my career and He has given me the talent and the ability to do my job and I’m grateful for that.

Secondly my husband. He supports me continually in my business endeavors and I’m so grateful !

My family are huge supporters of my business and supported me to go to hair school like I had wanted too since I was young.

There are quite a few people I know personally who have helped me. I can’t name them all but My friend and co- worker Sarah Marie who owns the salon I currently work at, Sarah Marie Salon. I have worked with her for almost 10 years now. She has helped me push myself to grow, learn and earn money, and helped me grow my business and also friendship that I didn’t expect to have when I graduated hair school.

Another person is my friend and used to be co-worker back in the day, Tara Pearson. She owns Sustainable Soul Salon in Weatherford a Re-fillery and Salon. She was the one who introduced me to Thrivers Society which totally changed the way I do business for the good.

Shout out to Britt Seva CEO and Owner of Thrivers Society for helping all of us in the beauty industry!
Shout out to John Taffer. I admire his business advice and skills and love for wanting to help businesses thrive.
