Meet Morgan Larabee | Assistant Vice President of Iolite Studioz, Owner of CinnaBun Designs, Vtuber and Voice Actress

We had the good fortune of connecting with Morgan Larabee and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Morgan, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I was very passionate about acting growing up and in 2011 was inspired by anime voice actors to start my journey in voice acting. Along the way I learned so much that I wanted to help others enter the industry of entertainment. I joined my father on his entrepreneurial adventure to start a local studio in the Dallas Texas area as his Assistant Vice President of Iolite Studioz.
During my time at Iolite I was inspired by the business world to start my own business that focuses on a self-care method of creation for me while also providing enjoyable products for customers that can be used for their own self-care routine or a little fashionable treat for themselves. This was the birth of my upcoming business CinnaBun Designs.
I wanted to do something that was enjoyable for me and make time fly while I wasn’t busy with assisting Iolite Studioz and juggling my career as a Vtuber and Voice Actress.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’ve done lots of character and fashion design growing up as it was my passion as a child, later on I was inspired by anime and many online artists. What I like about my work is my style mimicry and my ability to do multiple styles. With my iconic character designs I have created no matter the stylistic art choice I make you able still see who I am drawing.
This has helped me in designing my iconic Vtuber Spiolite as well as the upcoming mascot Yuki for Iolite Studioz which will be debuting late 2024/early 2025.
I’m planning to use my art and graphic design skills to elevate my personal business CinnaBun designs in creating iconic fashion and merchandise for my characters while also creating merchandise for Iolite.

It was not easy, and it’s still an uphill battle. I have been cultivating my skills as an artist from a very young. Everyday I discover a new method of the artistic process that I use in each piece. With the age of social media I am constantly making plans and content for my platforms in order to grow as a Vtuber, Artist, and Small Business Owner.

I overcome my challenges through research and trends online, mainly self education and self discovery. I’ve learned to be open minded to all forms of art and how it may inspire me and my content creation.

I want the world to know me for my creativity and my multiple styles for each creative journey I take. Whether it be the relatable self love and care business that is CinnaBun Designs, the fashionable demon idol Vtuber Spiolite, or the goofy passionate AVP/ Voice Actress Morgan Larabee.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would start with my hometown Denton, where even though it is a booming college town there is still many to do! I always recommend going to the Denton Square where you can enjoy a nice cup of coffee at Jupiter House, then look at the antique mall or go to the Opera House book store to see what gems of media we can find! I am a person who loves to drag my friends everywhere so best expect there will be a stop at the local D20 Tavern to play games or visit the monthly weekend market, the Farmer’s Market off of the square. If visiting during the holiday I highly recommend near Halloween or Christmas cause for Halloween we celebrate the entire month of October with various activities throughout the month. Christmas we have a giant get together on the square where we light the tree, have a cider contest with all the stores on the square, and have a tiny market to shop around for the holiday. If ever in town I also recommend our visitor shop where we have really good local meme stickers which locals will love to tell you the stories behind them.
