We had the good fortune of connecting with Mikaela Green and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mikaela, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
Although it may sound simple, I love the quote, “Just do it.” Whenever I find myself hesitating out of fear, I remind myself to get out of my head and take action. We are often our own worst enemies, easily getting stuck in the cycle of talking or thinking about our plans without ever putting them into action.
This straightforward phrase serves as a powerful reminder to get started. Whether it’s launching a business, picking up a new hobby, starting a new job, or simply breaking out of your comfort zone, “Just do it” encourages us to push past uncertainty and take that first step.
I love this quote because it applies to every aspect of life. Whenever you feel yourself holding back or making excuses out of fear, remember: just do it.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At MikFit Training, my passion is to provide personalized boxing coaching that empowers clients at all fitness levels. My journey began when I decided to try a boxing class at a local gym, which quickly evolved into a competitive pursuit and, ultimately, coaching. As a woman in a predominantly male field, I’ve faced significant challenges, from overcoming fear to battling self-doubt. These experiences have taught me the importance of resilience and finding a supportive mentor. What sets MikFit Training apart is my commitment to creating a welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable and supported, especially beginners.
I’m proud of the transformations I see in my clients as they gain confidence, strength, and self-defense skills. The lessons I’ve learned emphasize the value of perseverance, continuous learning, and the power of mentorship. My philosophy is to always remain a student of the sport, ensuring I bring the best techniques and training methods to each session. Additionally, I offer flexible training schedules, personalized fitness plans, and a supportive community that celebrates each other’s progress.
What excites me the most is seeing the progress and confidence my clients develop through our sessions. Whether you’re looking to get fit, learn self-defense, or simply try something new, my tailored approach ensures you’ll reach your goals in a fun and motivating environment. My brand and story are about breaking barriers and empowering others to discover their potential. So, if you’re ready to transform your fitness journey, remember: it’s time to get fit with Mik. Let’s start building your strength and confidence together.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would not be where I am today without TMACK ELITE TRAINING, a remarkable boxing gym and community in Allen, TX. In 2016, I discovered this gym and instantly fell in love with boxing. The gym’s community feels like a big family, with everyone sharing the same goal: to be better than yesterday. I spent countless hours at TMACK ELITE, progressing from a passionate participant to a competitive boxer, and eventually, a boxing trainer.
I never envisioned becoming so deeply involved in boxing. Initially, I intended to take a few classes and enjoy it as an occasional hobby. However, I found myself captivated by the learning process and surrounded by amazing people who continually challenged and improved me. Tony Mack, thank you for your vision in opening this gym. Your dedication to motivating and leading others in a positive direction has transformed countless lives. As you often say, “Boxing saves more lives than it takes.” Your influence and the incredible community at TMACK ELITE TRAINING have been pivotal in my journey, and for that, I am profoundly grateful.
