Hi Martin, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?

At Zhemian Ventures, we believe that social and political development of any community or nation follows closely on the heels of that community’s or nation’s economic development.

Zhemian Ventures helps the community and the world by promoting economic development and empowerment in under-developed communities. We do so by providing entrepreneurs, emerging companies, and existing growth companies with the necessary legal advisory and support services, strategic planning, informational resources, and investment capital required to take their business to the next level of success.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

Everyone is trying to build a better mousetrap to beat out his competitor. There are several companies out there that provide the same services Zhemian Ventures. Even if you are the original innovator of an idea, once you take that idea to market, it will be copied, scaled, tweaked, and improved. As such, there goes your innovative value-add out the window.

Zhemian Ventures has three (3) value-adds that stand out from a traditional law practice. First, relationship with our clients is our cornerstone. Relationship really is everything for us. We partner with our clients in helping them build and grow their companies. We believe in the individual first, then the business. As our second value-add, Zhemian Ventures offers fixed prices; a welcomed relief from exorbitant hourly rates charged by traditional firms. These two features, well let’s be honest, can be copied, scaled, and serve as value-adds by other firms (traditional and non-traditional).

However, the third value-add is completely unique to Zhemian Ventures and is the company’s main selling point. This value-add could never be copied, duplicated, or scaled by another firm. What is this third value-add? It is ME, Martin A. Brown.

I AM the most valuable component of Zhemian Ventures. And because I am the most valuable feature, I must work to constantly improve it—improve myself. How? Continued personal development. By taking care of myself, physically, mentally, and spiritually and expanding my knowledge base to better serve my clients’ needs.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?

First and foremost, Shoutout to my mother, Bettye Brown, for her love and support, and especially for raising me to be proud of my heritage, to stand on my own two feet as a man, but not be too proud to ask for help when needed.

Second, Shoutout goes to my wife, Donesha Brown, for her love, support, encouragement, and willingness to DREAM BIG with me. It is such a blessing to have a wife who does not panic and who is willing to step out of her comfort zone when you take your destiny into your own hands to start your own business.

Last, but certainly not least, Shoutout to my ancestors for passing on to me a legacy of faith, courage, and tenacity.
