Meet Mariela Salas | Licensed Esthetician and Esthetics Instructor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Mariela Salas and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mariela, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success is love, faith, and God. Love drives my dedication to skincare and my desire to help clients feel confident in their own skin. Faith keeps me grounded, reminding me to trust the process, embrace challenges, and believe in the vision I have for my brand. And above all, God is at the center of everything I do. His guidance, grace, and blessings have led me through every step of my journey. With love, faith, and God, I am able to serve my clients with purpose and passion.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
As a faith filled esthetician, I pour love into everything I do. I am incredibly proud of how far I’ve come and for taking that leap of faith to pursue my passion. Watching my business grow and seeing where this journey takes me is truly exciting.
Getting to where I am today in my business was not easy. We all face struggles whether mentally, emotionally, or whatever it may be but what matters most is that we get back up and keep moving forward. Through every challenge, I’ve learned that God never leaves our side, and His guidance has been my strength.
What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that I truly love what I do. My priority is creating a space where my clients can relax and feel beautiful in their own skin. I know what it feels like to struggle with self-confidence, and I never want my clients to feel that way. We are all beautiful in our own way, and my mission is to help every person who walks through my doors see and embrace that beauty.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
This is such a great question it really gets you thinking! There are definitely places I’d love to visit that I haven’t had the chance to yet, so I’d probably include some of those.
Since I love iced coffee, we’d start each morning by trying different coffee shops, paired with a little Bible study to set the tone for the day. On the first day, we’d explore Bishop Arts District, I’ve heard it’s perfect for shopping and taking cute pictures, so we’d spend the day wandering and soaking it all in.
On the second day, we’d do brunch at XOXO Dining Room (because of course, we need cute pictures!) and then get creative with something artsy, like Painting with a Twist.
The third day would be all about relaxation-facials, manis, and pedis for the ultimate self-care day. We’d do a little more shopping, then dress up for dinner at a fancy restaurant to end the night in style.
For the rest of the trip, we’d have fun girls nights out-shopping, dancing, and even catching a movie at Rooftop Cinema Club in Fort Worth. I know there are so many more amazing places to check out, but this would definitely be my ideal girls trip with a bestie!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost, I want to give all the glory to God for planting the dream of becoming an esthetician in my heart and guiding me every step of the way. I am beyond grateful for my husband, who has stood by my side through life’s ups and downs, always offering unwavering support. My family for showering me with love and encouragement. I also want to thank Angela, the owner of the school where I work, for giving me the opportunity to be a part of Glow, and Kay, an incredible instructor and friend, whose guidance and encouragement have meant so much to me. Each of these people has played a vital role in my journey, and I am deeply thankful for their love and support.
