We had the good fortune of connecting with Lynae Vosberg and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lynae, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Over the past 15 years, my husband and I have had our hands in several businesses. No matter what type of business you start there are several variations that contribute to your success, but for us, there is always one main factor that has played a major role in our success. You will invest time and money into how your business is set up from the location to accounting software. It continues by picking out furniture, fixtures, and setting up your POS system. You will create a logo, website, and in today’s day and age set up your social media presence. Then comes time for hiring employees and establishing procedures and policies. But the most important part of any company should be “Customer Service”. Customer service is the number one reason for our success. You need to go above and beyond to give them a reason to come back. It is very likely that they can get whatever you are offering or selling from another company, so why yours? What can you give your customers that your competitors can not? A kind word? A smile? You can spend thousands of money on advertising but there is nothing like word of mouth from a happy customer.

What should our readers know about your business?
In 2005, my husband was looking for a UPS store to drop a package off. There were no locations even close to where we lived. So, he opened a pack n ship store to fill that need, Class Mail & Business Center. In 2006, we opened up another location. In the first 5 years of business, Mark had a full-time job, we had these 2 business locations, plus eBay e-commerce sites, Solid Ground Coffee, Tiffany’s Party Playhouse, and The Whispering Rose. Even more importantly Mark and I attended a small business class and this changed our entire business model. First and foremost, do what you know! You can not be everything to everybody. After our leases were up on the other businesses, it allowed us to focus on the Pack-n-ship stores. We rebranded ourselves with a new logo, created customer retention rewards, company shirts, brochures, revamp the stores and our e-commerce sites. We also created our mission statement, “Providing trusted customer service with a personal touch”, which is the backbone of our company. Over the next 11 years, we have focused on just that. But we did not stop there! Over 5 years ago our daughter got married and finding a venue was a huge struggle. They were so expensive and had tons of restrictions. So, once again we found a need and that opportunity presented itself exactly 4 years ago. We purchased our dream home that had a wedding venue on the property. Having fabulous employees and management at the mail stores allowed us to spend the last 4 years building Fort Worth Country Memories. We created the brand, websites, and year after year adding more and more. Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I was actually just reminded today of our hidden jewel in Fort Worth, the Fort Worth Stockyards. It is such a wonderful place to share with family and friends. It embodies what the city is all about. This area has such quaint shops, restaurants, activities, and the decor and buildings are perfect.

With our property, we have the luxury of enjoying our own miniature horses and “Zoey”, our zebra. We created “The Corral” for our events with Fort Worth Country Memories. Our guests get to pet and feed the horses while contemplating if Zoey is white with black stripes or black with white stripes.

My husband and I have been so blessed. We could not have done this without our incredible employees and family support.
