We had the good fortune of connecting with Londyn Bradshaw and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Londyn, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I wasn’t much of a person who took risks! I have all these creative ideas but I would never go through with them because of low self esteem. I was very much holding back to the point where I just would be to scared to try anything new. When the pandemic hit I realized I ended up regretting a lot of things I never did. So I came to the realization that life is short and you’re never promised tomorrow, That being said I quit my day job and ended up being a full time content creator, A dream and a life goal that I have had for a long time, I was honestly scared of the outcome since I had nothing to fall back on, It ended up being the best decision I’ve ever made. I have never been happier> I am a full time drag artist and a full time Twitch streamer. I also cant wait to see where the future takes me and see where this career adventure goes. Would you rather take the risk or regret not knowing what the outcome would be. I think everyone should take risk as long its not harming anyone around them

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m Londyn, a Black, Non-binary drag queen and digital content creator. Past Miss Gay Seattle and Past Miss Gay Washington, As well as a huge advocate for Black Lives Matter. My goal is to create space for BIPOC creators on all platforms. I have been going the extra mile to help build a more inclusive community that does not tolerate hostility. I am not only creating a welcoming and loving space, I am trying to foster a safe space where people can be themselves and grow as people or express themselves freely even if their daily life doesn’t allow them to. As a Black content creator I experience oppression first-hand, this is why one of my biggest goals is to not let the unjust maltreatment present in the “real world” touch my community members while they’re in my community. the Black & Queer community are a huge area of opportunity within the content creation program especially where it converges with the drag community, as it is right now an untapped market. My content features Black, Queerness, and drag at its forefront.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Kahlua Ice – someone who has mentored me through improving my look and making space for me to have a voice and continuously pushing me to speak up and stand up for myself when I have an idea that will benefit everyone as a whole

Sky Martini Ice- A sibling of mine that is always just a phone call away from whenever I need to talk or vent about something. Also someone who makes me see both sides of the situations and how to approach situations professionally and logically.

Duchess Drew Nightshade – My roommate and best friend. Someone who is on board with almost every idea that I have. Someone who is very understanding and supportive about the career path that I am wanting to take. Very lucky to have them as a roommate.
