Meet Lindsey Williams | Nurse Practitioner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Lindsey Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lindsey, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
Do what you need to do, so you can do what you want to do! My mama taught me that! When I was a kid I would roll my eyes and groan when she would make me finish my homework before playing outside, or clean my room before seeing friends… at the same time I watched her work as a single mom while getting her Master’s degree all while raising me! That lesson has stuck with me forever, and I continue to live my life with the same idea. Work hard now, so you can play hard later. I ended up going to graduate school with two little ones too. It was tough, but it ALL paid off; now I get to enjoy my dream job while having a great work-life balance and provide for my family! I also now enjoy watching my kids roll their eyes and groan when I make them do their homework before playing video games. 🙂
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
DFW is the BEST!! There is so much to do and see, concerts, sports, museums! Dallas: Meso Maya is amazing Mexican food, The Old Monk is my favorite for drinks for Brunch! Take your pup to Mutts Cantina! The Dallas Aquarium and Perot museum are super fun! Ft Worth: Dinner at Joe T Garcias, a concert at Bass Hall, then out and about in Sundance square. During the day- visit the Ft Worth Botanical Gardens and the Ft Worth Zoo. My favorite small town places: Mary B’s in Bartonville- Texas food, drinks, and an enormous patio with live music, Babes Chicken (Roanoke location is the original) you have to try the Chicken Fried Steak!!! yum!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Brené Brown! Everything she says! Heather Tindell, director of Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center Dallas. She is the Spa Director and owner of BHRC Dallas. She combines her passions for wellness and secrets she learned in working with the Hollywood elite in LA to bring North Texas a spa like no other in the area! She took a chance on me, and taught me everything I know about injecting and helping clients look and feel their best. 5 years later, she is more than a mentor to me, she is the person I can trust with anything! Her investment in my further education is ongoing. Her leadership continues to grow me as a nurse injector and she is always there to support her team. I couldn’t imagine working for anyone else!
