We had the good fortune of connecting with Lindsey Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lindsey, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
Do what you need to do, so you can do what you want to do! My mama taught me that! When I was a kid I would roll my eyes and groan when she would make me finish my homework before playing outside, or clean my room before seeing friends… at the same time I watched her work as a single mom while getting her Master’s degree all while raising me! That lesson has stuck with me forever, and I continue to live my life with the same idea. Work hard now, so you can play hard later. I ended up going to graduate school with two little ones too. It was tough, but it ALL paid off; now I get to enjoy my dream job while having a great work-life balance and provide for my family! I also now enjoy watching my kids roll their eyes and groan when I make them do their homework before playing video games. 🙂

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.

I am a Nurse Practitioner at Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center- Dallas. I am the nurse injector and I run our Bio-Identical hormone program at our Southlake location. I graduated from Brookhaven College in 2008 and began working as an RN in the emergency department in Ft Worth, Tx. While living in Florida as a military wife, I was able to fulfill my desire to go back to school for my Master of Science in Nursing from Jacksonville University in 2015. Oh, and while working nights in the Emergency Department and raising two kids under 3 years old. It was anything but easy. Lots of sleepless nights, sweat, and tears. How? Perseverance, daily resolve, constant positive self-talk… and maybe a little red wine and Blue Bell thrown in there somewhere. Graduation day, holding my diploma and two boys was one of the proudest moments of my life! My advice to anyone going through something tough: keep your eyes on the goal but achieve it one day at a time. Like you’re climbing a mountain, just put one foot in front of the other… then one day, you’ll wake up and you’ll be on top! Sometimes starting is the hardest part, just take the first step. I would write sticky notes to myself of Bible verses and inspirational quotes and post them everywhere. Take care of yourself- sleep and veggies! Positive self-talk is KEY.
I now am back in DFW and am a wife and mommy to 2 boys and our new baby girl! As a part of Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center- Dallas, the best in aesthetics, anti-aging, and wellness- my goal is to enhance your beauty and wellness from the inside out! I see clients at the Southlake and Flower Mound locations, while there are 6 current DFW locations: Southlake, Highland Park, Flower Mound, Frisco, Ft Worth, and Alliance.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
DFW is the BEST!! There is so much to do and see, concerts, sports, museums! Dallas: Meso Maya is amazing Mexican food, The Old Monk is my favorite for drinks for Brunch! Take your pup to Mutts Cantina! The Dallas Aquarium and Perot museum are super fun! Ft Worth: Dinner at Joe T Garcias, a concert at Bass Hall, then out and about in Sundance square. During the day- visit the Ft Worth Botanical Gardens and the Ft Worth Zoo. My favorite small town places: Mary B’s in Bartonville- Texas food, drinks, and an enormous patio with live music, Babes Chicken (Roanoke location is the original) you have to try the Chicken Fried Steak!!! yum!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Brené Brown! Everything she says! Heather Tindell, director of Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center Dallas. She is the Spa Director and owner of BHRC Dallas. She combines her passions for wellness and secrets she learned in working with the Hollywood elite in LA to bring North Texas a spa like no other in the area! She took a chance on me, and taught me everything I know about injecting and helping clients look and feel their best. 5 years later, she is more than a mentor to me, she is the person I can trust with anything! Her investment in my further education is ongoing. Her leadership continues to grow me as a nurse injector and she is always there to support her team. I couldn’t imagine working for anyone else!
