Meet Jescia Jackson | Lady Jescia/ Mz. Parker

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jescia Jackson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jescia, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I am definitely a risk taker! I took a risk by inboxing Mr. Cory Espie asking him do he teach new up coming actors… By the grace of God he responded and he lived 8 minutes from me!!! From there we hit it off, he introduced me to several producers and directors and my acting career blossomed from there!!!
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a Surgical Technician! I been doing this for 20 years now! I knew i wanted to be a Surgical Tech ever since H.S. I rotated through the VA Hospital and seen a Breast reduction surgery and I feel in love! I loved the inside of the body, all the blood and guts intrigued me! I knew I would always have a job if I got in the medical field so I learned it like the back of my hand and I could literally do my job in my sleep!!! lol🤣 Sometimes it could get hard but I loved all the trauma and excitement! It made me a better ST and taught me that I could do anything I wanted if I put my mind to it! I am very OCD! So everything had to be neat and clean on my back table when I set up and everyone knew that if it wasn’t right I would change it!!!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love Mexican Food so I would go to Gloria’s! Plus they have great margaritas! I also like Tortchy’s Taco for lunch and they have good drinks too! My favorite restaurant is Texas Roadhouse! I like to keep it simple I’m not that expensive! I also love some good catfish so I would go to Greedy’s sports bar or BoomShack! I love to bowl and go to the movies with family and friends so like Main Event or Shenanigans! In the summer I love water parks and amusement parks! I’m not a big club girl but I love live music! So I would go to Sandaga 813, The Free Man, The House of Blues, or BrickHouse! I love Day parties so I do Lava Cantina, Sambuca 360, Stirr…
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
1st giving all thanks to God!! Because of him this wouldn’t be possible! Shoutout to my wife Erica Jackson! She is my biggest fan and supporter!!! She always believes in me and is there when i doubt myself! Last Cory Espie! He took a chance on me and he believed I had what it takes to become a good actress and I’m truly grateful and blessed to have met him!!!
