Meet Heather Dior Pujol | Fashion Influence & Fashion Stylist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Heather Dior Pujol and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Heather Dior, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
I received a heartfelt note from a follower and friend, saying that my fashion videos and fashion advice are so inspiring and helpful. This was incredibly touching and is exactly why I do what I do. While it may be challenging at times to juggle everything, fashion is truly my passion and it brings me so much joy to inspire others.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am most proud of how I make my followers and customers feel. To me, this is more than just a job; it is a passion. I have loved fashion since I was a young child, and it naturally evolved into a professional pursuit. I have always been the go-to person for my friends and family regarding fashion questions. In 2016, I decided to start posting my outfits, where I bought them, and where I was wearing them to.
Then Effortless Style, based in Nashville, reached out to me about spearheading their Dallas market. It was such an honor to start working with clients on an individual basis to help them overcome their fashion challenges and needs. The biggest challenge for me was building a client base since I am originally from Nashville. I did not know a lot of people, and getting my name out there was challenging. However, with challenges also come opportunities and excitement. I have learned that it is okay to step out of your comfort zone, be vulnerable, and put yourself out there in the unknown. It is scary, but it can also be very rewarding.
What do I want the world to know? That is a good question. I want the world to know that fashion is your armor when you face the world. Whether it’s going on a job interview, a first date, a girls’ night out, or a concert to hear your favorite band, fashion plays a part in all of that. When you have on your fashion armor, you can take on anything the world throws at you.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
One of my favorite places to eat is Gloria’s. They have the best enchiladas, salads, black bean dip, and their drinks are so yummy. After that, we would definitely have to go shopping at NorthPark Mall because it has all the fun stores. I also love the artsy vibes, so I would definitely take them to Deep Ellum, where we could eat at Deep Sushi and then go to Energy Gardens for a plant workshop. It’s an amazing experience where you can pot plants such as succulents, and you can even bring an adult beverage if you choose to.
Additionally, I would take them to an art exhibit at one of the museums, such as The Dallas Museum of Art, and to the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. There are so many things to do in Dallas that I could go on and on.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give a shout out to my mom. She passed away, but she is the reason I am where I am today. She was my biggest cheerleader, always encouraged my creativity, and was my best friend. I miss her constantly, and her support and love have shaped the person I am today.
