We had the good fortune of connecting with Fanny Minnitt and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Fanny, career-wise, where do you want to be in the end?
My end goal is to impart before I depart. Of course, this wasn’t my end goal many years ago. If I was asked this question several years ago my end goal would have been to build a successful business create joy in my family and spread the gospel. But as I developed a more intimate relationship with God and his word I gained more wisdom and understanding of life. My purpose is still the same, but my focus and strategic planning in my business ventures has had a paradigm shift. Everything that I do is revolved around my purpose, my business is my purpose. Due to the nature of my career, my career is not going to end. I am strategically and professionaly imparting until the day I depart.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am excited about my live-streaming syndicated television show the name of my television show is The Fanny Minnitt Show. The mission of the show is to impact lives by sharing the understanding of faith through the word of God, music, and “Ordinary people doing EXTRA-ORDINARY THINGS” share their stories and testimonies on my television show. I want to get people to study the word of God daily, pray daily, and pray for others daily. So when the question What is Faith is asked, it can be answered in a conversational and approachable manner. I also broadcast weekly on The fishbowl Radio Network. Everything that I do is around my purpose. My newest faith walk is my first online course called Faith Accelerator Master Class (FAMily), it’s being released TBA. There are many ventures in my life that led me to where I am today. I’ve traveled many places in the world, my husband and I are veterans, I am a retired educator (business teacher and administrator), mother, married 37 years and have a grown son and one amazing grandson. Everything I’ve mentioned has prepared me and led me to where I am now. But 2015 was when life led me to reinventing myself and starting something new. My challenge was that my mind was frozen, once I started defrosting I realized my definite purpose in life and that is to spread the message of faith by sharing and teaching how to identify and walk by faith in everyday living. Studying and researching and purposely living by the word of God helped me to begin to get over my challenges and helped me to a different mindset. Mindset and passion is key to understanding your purpose. I am so authentic about conducting kingdom business. I was once asked to describe myself with three words my answer was (Thoughtful, Persistent, Warrior). Thank you for this opportunity.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take them to the Golf Center of Arlington, we’ll spend hours at this place, afterwards eat at Golden Corral in Arlington. Definitely, The Main Event in Grand Prairie, it is awesome, bowling and games all over this place, its a family place, afterwards we’ll head to Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen in Duncanville, this is the best Pappadeaux out of all of them. Of course I have a radio show once a week on Thursdays at fishbowl radio network so it’s always exciting when a friend get’s an opportunity to rock the mic with me on The Award-Winning Fanny Minnitt Show, they will get an opportunity to meet the founder Ms. Sammi. My favorite shopping places, for designer jewelry and clothing is TakaibyAngela in Cedar Hill, I enjoy North Park Mall and the Galleria in Dallas, we’ll eat at The Grand Lux Cafe at The Galleria after we shop until we drop. and the food court at North Park Mall, I’ve eaten at most of the places there but my favorite at the foodcourt is Sukur Japan, A couple of those days we’ll have a big BQ at the house everyone loves my husband cooking I call it Theodore’s home cooking, my friends call it Mr. Minnitt food. We’ll go to Hill Side Village (outdoor shopping Mall) in Cedar Hill for shopping and walking and eat at Razzoo’s Cajun Cafe in Cedar Hill. I’ll contact Zondra Evans at ZTV studios and ask for a tour of the studio, and she is a lot of fun and wise so maybe she’ll have time to meet and greet my friend. My live-streaming television shows are filmed at ZTV Network so my friend will get a chance to see and take pictures where I film The Fanny Minnitt television shows. There are so many places in Dallas and the surrounding places. But before they leave town we must attend a church service, so we’ll all head to church on Sunday at Trinity Church on Pleasant Run Road in Cedar Hill, Tx. to enjoy an anointed sermon by one of our amazing Pastors Jim or Becky Hennesy and we must attend Sunday Bible Study with The Truth Seekers. Pastor Stovall after the 9:00 a.m. service.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Oh my, there are so many people and organizations that deserves a shout out from me. My family first, especially my mother who is no longer on earth, she taught me many valuable life lessons. The military unveiled many of my hidden strengths. Theodore Minnitt Jr., my husband of thirty-seven years and his entire family taught me ways to love that I hadn’t grasped throughout my life. And my adorable son and grandson who is my heartbeats and is one of the reasons I have had a shift in how I operate in my business, they are my frontline legacies. Because I do not want to miss any names, I have to shout out to all of my friends who always support me unconditionally, they know who they are, I love you! I want to shout out to Linda Crawford, Founder of Anchor News Paper who gave me an opportunity to write inspiration stories in her newspaper, Sammi G., Founder of Fishbowl Radio Network who has given many a platform to spread their messages and build their businesses, I am still spreading the message of faith by helping folks identify and practice faith in everyday life, which leads them to the word of God. That platform is building increasing exposure for me and others businesses. I also would like to shout out to Zondra Evans, Founder of ZTV Network who has an incredible incubator for television producers who are building their platforms through media. See, it’s so many people, okay, Agape Church in Killeen, TX who gave me my first opportunity to stand before their congregation and speak, this was before I had a book or recognition, Pastor and Evangelist Johnson. The Camouflaged Sisters, Founder Lila Holley, allowed me on their platform to speak about business, and Renor Nori, Consulting firm who is always looking out for people to bring to my platform unconditionally. Read the acknowledgment page in my book “Just Have Faith” and find the names of those who have had my back for most of my life and in times that I needed help the most, like the school Rancier Middle School staff (when I went through one of the hardest times in my life). My favorite book that I suggest everyone should read that will help guide their steps in everyday living is the Bible. I gotta mention these folks by name, Ora Hines and family, Violetta Butler, Diane Easter and everyone else, please understand all of you mean the world to me but its so many I don’t want to forget. The three names I felt I had to mention because they played such a major role in my life for many years. Ora and I met in the six grade for heaven sakes.
