Meet Erica Davis | Lovelydiva the actress, model, author, a lady of many hats

We had the good fortune of connecting with Erica Davis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Erica, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
Given them what money cant buy that I didnt have. Grown up my parents wasnt always there, I was raised by my grandma and grandfather. Grown up I wish my parents was there at games or stuff I did, or just to hug me and be there for me more. I think letting your kids know you love them and showing up for them make them want to be better and do better. Our kids is the lifeline, and it takes a village and I want my kids to just know I will always be here til I cant. Kids losing there life’s daily to the streets or jail and I want mine to know I will never let neither raise them. I have 8 kids and a grandson and I will always go to the moon and back for them.

What should our readers know about your business?
Im excited about walking the runway in New york,and what set me apart from others is that im always on go, im always finding new ways to improve my craft and others, someone can think of something and I can create a whole movie around it. I got to where I am today by hard work, God and not given up. It will be hard times cause nothing will be easy.but by not given up u will succeed. I over came a lot of challenges by crying and praying and just taken a step back to look at stuff. Sometimes we move so fast we miss something or dont take great advice. Sometimes u got to get out of your own head and give it to God and just dont give up. I lost my job and wanted to just stop buy God said no keep going, ppl picking and begin messy I wanted to stop go gangster but I look at my kids and say I wont go backwards. I learn that u cant rush success, it will come, and dont let other people vision be your vision, cause a lot of ppl wont see your vision til its done, and dont let fear take over or taken a l make u quite. Can’t have a million without some l’s. I want the world to know that im back and im better did over 15 movies and now about to turn my book into a movie and launch my very own production company. While putting out children books, and I plan on doing another fashion show of my own very soon, well stay tune cause its so much more

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I dont have a best friend, but if I did I dont know, I havent been to too many places, im just not really getting out and enjoying life to the fullest. My friend most likely would pick the stuff to do

My god mother, she showed me so much love, just like miss jacque do, no matter what they there to give me adivce.
Bonnie b, when i came to texas, she showed me other people to conntect with and always showed love. shay Trendy always there when i need her and always showed love..Lamont took chance on me and put me in so many of his movies and has taught me so much in the film world, Johnathan my big bro,taugh me a lot about the film world also, and always there to give me advice and help when needed. my gurl hannha man she always looking out and from day one been nothing but good vibes. My girl stacy always there with reels to out smiles on my face. My friend jennie is so sweet and kind and keep me level headed like my friend Tye. These ppl showed me so much love and I appreciate them so much. I have a village and love my village.. shout-out to yall..
