We had the good fortune of connecting with Elaina Bryant and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Elaina, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I started Elainafaye because I saw a common problem that most women, I included, have. The problem is that women tend to not feel worthy, confident, or able to lead themselves personally and/or professionally to successfully pursue their dreams, passions, or goals. I’ve learned in the past few years that to achieve your goals and dreams you have to learn how to lead yourself every day. So I wanted to create a business that gave women tangible tools & resources, and a community to help them lead themselves and take action steps towards building a life that they love. Whether that’s in the home or workplace. Elainafaye is for the entrepreneur looking for tangible business tools, branding, or social media strategies. A leader in their workplace and looking for ways to grow and influence their team. The woman who wants to start a blog, side hustle, become an influencer, etc. Or someone who desires personal growth wants to build their confidence, and unlock their potential.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Since I was 19, I have worked for a company that invests heavily in people. I quickly moved into a leadership role, learned the ins-and-outs of running a multi-million dollar company, and was developing leaders under me. Over the 9 years of working for this company, I have been in 5 different leadership roles and aspects of the business. I got there through a strong work ethic, failing, the support and help of coworkers, and seeking personal development. It has not been an easy journey but it has been rewarding. I have overcome challenges with help from others. I try to surround myself with people who challenge me, hold me accountable, allow me to fail and can speak wisdom into my life. I also try to be 100% honest and transparent with myself during challenges. That way I can learn and grow. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that I cannot successfully lead a team or run a business if I can’t lead myself personally and professionally every day. What I want people to know about me and my brand is that I know what it’s like to have a calling on your heart or be in a position of power and not feel adequate to be successful. I also know what it’s like to be challenged, grow, have people encourage me, and realize my full potential. If I can do it, so can you. Elainafaye is the place to cheer you on, challenge you and give you the resources to unlock your potential.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting for the weekend I would take them to the Bishop Arts District so we could shop. We would grab brunch at Paradiso. Then we would go to Victory Park and grab dessert at Sift and Pour and walk around the shops. I love going to aquariums so I would suggest the Dallas Aquarium. Then we would head to Northpark for more shopping and eat at Eataly.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There is a crazy long list of people who have impacted my journey and played a role during pivotal times in my life. Other than my husband and family, I have to shoutout Chick-fil-A. I started working there in college when I was 19 years old. I have now worked there for a little over nine years and can honestly say I am the woman I am today because of Chick-fil-A. I have learned so many life lessons, leadership skills, and business skills. If I had not worked there, I wouldn’t have the knowledge, tools, and confidence to start Elainafaye.
