We had the good fortune of connecting with Dominion Ezechibueze and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dominion, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I wanted to help people get healthier because I experienced the benefits firsthand, and wanted to share this positive experience with my micro-community.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The biggest thing that sets me apart from others is that I solely focus on healthcare workers, specifically nurses. This demographic of people have dedicated their lives to tend to other peoples needs, and there’s really no set apparatus put in place to help these specific group of people. I saw a dire need for what I do, and I had no choice but to take action. I get really excited when a nurse concludes my program and they are a completely different person — and not just from my own anecdotal experience with them. They tell me that their friends, family, and coworkers see a difference in them. And that’s truly fulfilling and rewarding. I started my career like any other personal trainer, helping people lose weight and feel confident about themselves, and I’m blessed that it’s evolved to this level of value I deliver. Nothing good or great comes easy. Building my business to where it is today has definitely been a struggle. Having to overcome a demographic barrier, an ego barrier, and many logistical barriers because my business is very innovative and fresh to the market. Some lessons I’ve learned along the way we’re truly reinforced from a decade career of playing football; hard work, dedication, resilience. I read this book called Pound The Stone by Joshua Mefcalf, which really helped me push through many mental obstacles until I started to see some success in my area of business. I want the world to know that I’m just an ordinary human being, a regular man, but through the strength and help from God, I’m able to do extraordinary things in an extraordinary way that produces massive beneficial results for people that I encounter. And everybody on planet Earth has access to this extraordinary methodology of delivering abundant value.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
So, we’ll first kick off the day with some delicious breakfast at Ellen’s Southern Kitchen. Then, we’ll head over to the Dallas Museum of Art to soak in some culture. For lunch, it’s gotta be Pecan Lodge for some mouthwatering BBQ. After that, we’ll take a stroll through Klyde Warren Park and check out the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza. And to top it all off, dinner at Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck, with those breathtaking views of the city. I think some of the most fun and exciting places and things to check out in the city are the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, Trinity Groves for a culinary adventure, and the Bishop Arts District.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First, I want to thank my lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Nothing I have is possible without him. I’d like to also thank my parents for instilling a strong foundation of Christ in me. I am a strong man of faith and I believe everything that happens in the physical realm, first manifests in the spiritual realm. I also want to thank all the people God placed in my life to, help me develop in such a way that increases my ability to impact lives and everybody I am blessed to come in contact with.
