Hi Destiny, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
My father always recites this to me, “adversity builds character”. I won’t say it’s my favorite quote, but it has been very instrumental in my thought process. Not only being a business owner, but just a human, you’re going to have adverse situations come up. Your outlook to that particular situation is what matters. Learning how to not only make friends with adversity, but also allow it develop and cultivate you, is significant.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am an Independent Contractor that solicits business solely for State Farm Insurance. My agency is efficient in auto, renters, homeowners, health, health supplement policies, disability, banking, life insurance, mortgages, and financial services. My particular specialty is life insurance. That is by far my FAVORITE product that State Farm Offers. I am very knowledgeable about what life insurance can not only do for the dead but for the living also. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE State Farm as a company. We are literally a one-stop shop.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My home state deserves recognition. I am from the state of Southern Hospitality, Mississippi. I have been so blessed and fortunate to have people from home who’ve supported me. Whether they’re future Texasippians( Texas residents,Mississippi natives) or they’ve simply referred someone to my agency, it is the foundation of DKJ State Farm Agency.
