We had the good fortune of connecting with Dava’ B and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dava’, what inspires you?
Life itself is very inspiring. How everything in life is one divine flow. The good is nothing without bad and vis versa. A great quote my close friend told me recently was that whether the glass is half full or half empty there is water in it regardless and that itself is inspiring knowing that things are 100% how you make them and that you in many ways you create the reality presented to you. The feeling of knowing that one day everything you ever wanted will be yours life and desires definitely are a big inspiration for me.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art is the expression of ones self love femininity and swag with clothes. I have a passion for designing so eventually I want to branch off into other things other than fashion but all things come with time. I think a major thing that sets me apart is my genuine love and passion for everything I do and want to do. Since a child I’ve lovedd art fashion and just creating I always knew I would be doing what I am doing now it was never off whim it was pretty much written.From where I started to where I am today I got there simply the biggest thing was consistency,you are going to mess up make mistakes and lose money over buy something literally anything wrong you can think of can happen, but you just have to let it happen. I recently went snowboarding and I felt like it was a metaphor for life because you may do good but you may fall but every time you fall you just have to get back up and you may keep falling especially in the beginning but you always get back up and the funny thing is that everybody else around you is falling too its the way life goes fall down 5 times get up 10 consistency is going to get you places keep going no matter what! What I want the world to know about me is that im here to make my mark and inspire others and bring peace and good energy to wherever I can.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
For the best view of Dallas skyline I would recommend the monarch restaurant the bathroom view is to die for For the best tacos Fruta loca in Duncanville
For the best Sushi Deep sushi in Deep Ellum
A hidden gem and vintage arcade that cost under $10 to play for hours is cidercade
A hidden gem for cool pics is the virgin hotel it looks so cool in there
Finish the night off with a cool snack at picole in deep ellum
