We had the good fortune of connecting with Christine Hale and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Christine, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My business started in a non-traditional way as I have a full time job in the corporate world. When my aerial coach at the time was looking for a bigger space, I spoke to her about buying a building and leasing it back to her. When she eventually moved on, I had to make a decision about what my next steps would be. When I spoke with various artists that I knew about the space, they begged me not to close it down. After that, Soar was born. We serve not only aerial arts, but everything from musical instrument instruction, voice, dance, the list goes on.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
When I’m not working in the corporate world, I’m an aerial artist. Like any skill, it takes time and determination to learn. I’ve worked hard to become the athlete and artist that I am through all sorts of challenges. Soar supports so many artists and gives them a home to work on their craft through the good times and bad. I’m so happy to be able to give artists a safe space to be.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Shout out to ALL the amazing people who have helped get Soar up and running. I have an amazing team and I’m so grateful.
