We had the good fortune of connecting with Chardonnae Baity and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chardonnae, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I would say the word creative to describe it more than anything, but not to take away from my artistry. I pursue this gruesome, tedious, rigorous, yet, joyful, amazing, exuberant career path for the simple fact I believe in the impossible. I believe in the “impossible,” meaning I DO NOT care what the statistics say. The probability of a task could reveal that I only have a 10% chance at succeeding in a room of 100. Guess what? I’m looking round like who’s the other 9. They said I was too small, but guess what? Played big. They said I wasn’t fast enough, but guess what? Got faster. They said he wasn’t good enough, but guess what? Helloooo Univ. South FL. They said I wasn’t smart enough, but guess what? What’s up Doc. Moral of the story is you hold the pen to your own story, JUST MAKE SURE YOU WRITE IT!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Being a student pharmacist has it’s ups and downs but I love it as everyday in the pharmacy you are 100% sure to be faced with a new challenge. It keeps you thinking and on your feet sort of like chess. I began pursuing my doctor of pharmacy degree during my junior year of undergrad. I remember walking out of class and thinking to myself I’m taking a bunch of science classes and it’s like it chose me. I went back to my dorm and did a little research and boom here we are at one of the toughest battles I am currently still trying to tackle set to graduate 2022. Tunnel vision and worrying about the things that I myself only can control.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We like to cookout where I’m from so we most likely gone either fire up the grill or get some seafood and hangout. Definitely hit the studio and just a bunch of G.V.O. (good vibes only) vibes. Other activities might consist of go-karts, chess, hooping, football, workout, just really depends who’s coming. There’s never no specific set agenda just take the day as it comes.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family in general as a whole. If you ever get a chance to listen to my music you would hear me talking about family all the time. The genuine people I surround myself with, who understand good energy and high vibrational frequencies and who are all about elevation. From this statement alone to not name any specifics, they’ll know if I’m talking about them in this statement here. When it’s genuine you know, you’re SAFE with family. We all want to see each other at the top!
