We had the good fortune of connecting with Brooke Tyler and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brooke, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
“Do what you love, and love what you do”
That quote was what I had written on the top of my cap when I graduated Aesthetician School. I love what I do. I love all things skin and beauty related. It is my biggest passion in life. I get to help people feel beautiful. I know what it feels like to feel ugly on the inside, so if I can just help one person feel beautiful on the outside, then I know I am doing the right thing, the thing that I love, the thing I am most good at, I know I chose the right career. Even just making one person smile after seeing their results puts a smile on my face, and I love that so much.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a licensed aesthetician and makeup artist in the great state of Texas and I want to be able to help people. I got into the aesthetics and beauty industry because I know how hard it is to feel beautiful on the insides at times, so if I can help just one person feel better about themselves about how they look on the outside- my day has been made and I know that all of the schooling was worth it and that I will be able to do this for more than just that one person because it is my passion and my destiny to be an aesthetician and beauty blogger. I love helping companies grow their brands by helping to get their name out there to people all over the world! Being an influencer is what keeps me going! I have many loyal followers who love me and my reviews and everything that I stand for. I love testing out new products to review for my lovely followers on my social media platforms as well.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend Hannah was visiting from Ohio, I would take her to Whataburger, then to the lake, I would take her to see my Grandparent’s house on the lake because it is my favorite place in the whole world. I then would take her to Old Alton Bridge (Goat Man’s Bridge) if it was at night (another one of my favorite spots), I would take her to my childhood homes, and then we would go get iced coffees because we are both addicted to caramel iced coffee. We would film beauty videos for our platforms and then we would probably drive around trying to find Instagrammable backgrounds for a photoshoot.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate this story to all of my followers on my social media platforms and all of my clients I have had throughout the last few years! Y’all are what keeps me going every single day. Y’all push me to be my best and are who motivate me to get out of bed and get me moving everyday to post content, and go to work! I can’t thank y’all enough!
