Meet Brandy Trotter | Owner and Manager of BLU Medspa

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandy Trotter and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brandy, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind the success of BLU Medspa has been the quality of our staff. We know that the people we train and invest in, will ultimately be the reason that our clients will return again and again. We take the time to inform, educate and listen to our clients. We know that they are investing in themselves and that we want to make sure they understand what it will take to reach their aesthetic goals. Very rarely is a procedure a “one and done” and so we want to help set realistic expectations as well. We know that we need to build a relationship with our clients that includes trusting our staff and our recommendations. Excellent communication, along with the highest degree of professionalism and a truly caring attitude gives our medspa the ability to succeed at the highest level.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I think the basis for our success is believing in ourselves and what we have to offer. Beauty is today’s culture can sometimes be misrepresented by what we see on television, in magazines and even on social media. We know that self-care can often be a personal and deeply emotional process. We have learned that most people are not seeking perfection or to look like someone else, they simply want to be comfortable in their own skin. It is our job to help them achieve that goal. Everyone of our clients is different and therefore we approach every treatment plan with that in mind. We are so happy to know that how we treat others matters and we are building relationships that are solid. We are so excited to keep growing our business because there are new technologies and techniques being developed everyday that can help our clients address their concerns such as skin issues, weigh loss, body contouring, and anti-aging and so much more,

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love the area that we live in because we have access to two major metropolitan area, Dallas and Fort Worth. If I could take a friend on a really great weekend getaway, I would probably start by having dinner at Trulucks in Southlake Town Square. This is a beautiful and upscale steak and seafood restaurant that has never disappointed. The food, drinks and service are always impeccable. Afterwards, I would make my way to the Adolphus Hotel in Dallas.

This famous and longstanding hotel has been a part of the Dallas landscape since 1912. This is the perfect place to discover what Texas is all about. The accommodations and the rooftop pool promise an exciting an enjoyable stay. The next day we would start with a wonderful brunch at Bistro 31. This restaurant has an outstanding menu and ambiance in Highland Park. We would then head over to tour the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium. It is a wonderful way to spend the afternoon and learn details about America’s Team. Finally, we would travel to the Stockyards in downtown Fort Worth. For those coming in from out of state, this is a must-see for understanding Texas pride and culture.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We know that our success would not be possible without the love and support of our families. Our work schedules not only include the daily day, but often times, we attend promotional events, charity events and volunteer our own time to help ensure the success of our business. We named our company BLU Medspa which means Beauty, Love and Unity. We believe deeply in all three of those words, because they represent who we are, not just what we do. We know that it takes a profound commitment to own your own company. We very grateful to our families, our friends, our clients and our business associates that make it possible for us to grow and flourish in our community.
