We had the good fortune of connecting with Beseja Moses and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Beseja, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I believe taking risks are what make you who you are. They define your character and shape your future. The risks that you take will determine what type of a life you live, and what type of legacy you leave behind. Taking risks has played a major role in my career, because it allowed my to make mistakes and learn from them in the process. It literally built my strength to properly maintain and manage my company. It help me become more of a self-sufficient entrepreneur…

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My form of art is very spiritual and eclectic. I draw inspiration from several forms of art the took place and set the stage before my time. I have an old-soul and it sometimes feels as if I’ve been here before, and I am getting another shot at this journey of life. We are most proud of the fact that we are one of the very few artists in our city to hit several Billboard Charts for record sales. My journey was so intense, I couldn’t even tell you how I got to this point. The only clear answer would be my source. In other words, “The Most High.” The journey was definitely not easy, but it was however worth it. how I overcame obstacles and challenges were by praying, believing in myself, believing in my source, and learning from my mistakes. The main lesson I’ve learned along the way is to “DO IT YOURSELF!” Read as much as you can, and never be afraid to fail or lose. Losing is only learning… We want them to know you really can do anything you put your mind to, but it takes consistency, discipline, determination, and a whole lot of faith in yourself and your creator. My brand is about being yourself and not being afraid to stand out from the crowd. Our brand is able evolving and growing into the light you are supposed to become, and helping others evolve in the process…

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If they come to San Antonio, I would take them to Wayne’s Wings to get a bite to eat, then take them down to the St. Mary’s college strip to visit a couple entertainment spots, like Paper Tiger, Limelight, and La Botanica. That way we could check out a few local entertainers and have some drinks.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost, I would love to give a shoutout to my “Divine Creator.” The main reason for me even breathing, walking, and talking right now. I would also love to give a shoutout to my business partner and other half of Cadillac Muzik, Scott Campbell. Without his creativity none of this would be possible. My mother and Andrea Lee are the backbone of my business. My sisters and brothers kept me motivated and held me down along the journey. Without mentorship from Reservoir Music Company, Dice Photos, Frank Fields, Solo Records, Madhouse Records, and 7Cru Ent Cadillac Muzik wouldn’t be in the position we are now in. Last but not least my uncles and my coaches. Coach Warren Godfrey, Coach Howard Fisher, and Coach John Nation Sr.
