We had the good fortune of connecting with Anissya Munoz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Anissya, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting this postpartum services business came from witnessing how isolating and overwhelming the postpartum period can be—both in my own life and for women around me. I realized that while there’s plenty of focus on pregnancy, there’s not nearly enough support once the baby arrives. I wanted to create something that didn’t just offer help, but offered care, community, and education to women—no matter their background, situation, or story. This business is about making sure no woman feels alone in one of the most transformative times of her life.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m most proud of turning my personal experiences into a purpose driven business that supports, educates, and uplifts women and families during one of the most vulnerable times in their lives. Helping someone feel seen, supported, and not alone in their postpartum journey, that’s everything to me! Knowing I get to be part of that healing and transformation is an honor I don’t take lightly.
I didn’t always see myself doing this. It wasn’t part of some long-term plan, it was something I lived. My own postpartum experiences opened my eyes to just how much women are expected to navigate on their own. The emotional rollercoaster, the physical recovery, the identity shifts, the lack of real community—it hit me hard. But it also lit a fire in me.I knew I wasn’t the only one feeling this way, and I knew I wanted to do something about it!
It’s been a journey filled with doubt, fear, and a lot of learning along the way. Balancing motherhood and entrepreneurship is not for the faint of heart. But every time I questioned myself, I came back to why I started.
Lessons I’ve Learned:

You don’t need to have it all figured out to start.

Vulnerability is a strength, not a weakness.

Community changes everything.

I want people to know that postpartum care is not a luxury, it’s a necessity! Every woman deserves to be held, heard, and cared for after birth. My brand is built on love, inclusivity, and realness. I’m not here to be perfect, I’m here to be present. To be a safe space. To remind women that they are not alone, and that healing is possible with the right support.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Rooftop bars or restaurants are a must, The Henry, Culinary Drop out or Te Deseo.

Breweries and distilleries like Four Corners, Manhattan Project, Bendt Distillery and TX Whiskey Ranch. We enjoy sporting event or concerts. We also enjoy spa like activities such as World Springs, too. We have to hit up The Stockyard in Fort Worth.

I love going to the Dallas Farmers Market for food, they have a little bit of everything for everyone. I also really enjoy Piranha Killer Sushi and Meso Maya.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My passion for this work didn’t just come from a textbook or training, it was born through my own experience of becoming a mother. I want to give a special shoutout to my kids, because without them, I’m not sure I would have ever discovered this calling. They are the reason I found my purpose in supporting and educating women from all walks of life as they adjust, heal, and grow after birth.

I created this space to be a resource—a safe, welcoming place where women feel seen, supported, and empowered. Whether you’re navigating your first week postpartum or still finding your footing months later, you deserve real support, compassion, and guidance. That’s what I’m here to offer.

This work is deeply personal to me, and I’m honored to walk alongside other families during such a sacred time
