We had the good fortune of connecting with Amy Stumpf and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi AMY, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I started my Veteran owned business after being diagnosed with breast cancer to help pay for treatments. It turned into a small business that is so much. The flexibility to not only go to treatments but also allowed me to homeschool my daughter. Operating our coffee trailer together has allowed her to learn invaluable life-skills that I know will help in her adult life.

Her and I have continue to grow our business and serving our community. I still use monies to continue treatments, while striving to build a successful and purposeful small business. Not only do we serve our community delicious craft drinks but; I also love to share my journey with others who are seeking healthily options and give hope to others facing tough situations.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
As a small Veteran owned business, we strive to provide excellent service to our customers with quality products. We are small but mighty. Our small custom horse trailer sets us apart; along with being a mother/young daughter duo. We have grown our business through perseverance and faith.

Her and I have overcome many challenges such as health, financial, and even weather but we keep going. Challenges that face a food trailer can be hard like the extreme heat or cold can make it hard to operate but we have learned to do our best and find new ways to overcome each challenge that we face.

Our moto is to keep the faith, follow your dreams, and listen to God for He will help lead you in the right direction. Our brand is more than a business, it is about overcoming struggles, building relationships, making new friends in community by simply offering place to come sip a craft drink and interact. Our craft drinks have built some our most unexpected and rewarding moments.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Finding new unique place, product, or service to experience is my favorite. It is hard to say for sure one place over another, as it depends on the friend, weather, and mood. This area has so much to offer whether it’s a small local place to listen to live music and enjoy the atmosphere, taking in a show or concert, seeing the sights such as during the blue bonnet season. I love to share a little bit of Texas culture by heading down to Ft. Worth and seeing the long horns. Our history is rich here and normally showing that to friends/family is a must.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My family has been here to help me with larger events with setting up, as it can be a lot to put together. My biggest supporter is my daughter. She keeps me going strong and is amazing with customer service. I believe, she is the face of our company and I am very proud of her! Our community has been wonderful at helping to support us as well and we beyond grateful.
