We had the good fortune of connecting with Ace Diosa and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ace, what’s your definition for success?
Success to me is pursing what you want and not letting hardships stop you from doing so. Success to me is also learning from your mistakes and not letting those mistakes hold you back from your dreams. Getting up each day and continue to work on your goals, no matter how yesterday went. Success in my opinion is not always about the destination but the journey that helps develop the skills you need to thrive. In other words, success is growth, as long as you are growing and making progress (no matter how fast or slow) you are succeeding.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As a model and actress and new business owner there is a lot of competition, what makes me stand out? Good question! I believe what makes anyone stand out from others is being their authentic self. Staying true to who you are is the KEY and that is what I live by. I’m most proud of how far I’ve come on my journey. You have to focus on your end goal but while doing so appreciate how far you have made it from the starting point and give yourself grace throughout your journey. I have gotten where I am today with hard work and dedication not giving up even when i had discouraging and doubtful moments, and believing in myself and not taking other people’s opinions about me or my ideas to heart, just going out and doing it. Some lessons I have learned along the way is you are going to fail but as long as you get up and keep pushing forward you will never be a failure. I have also learned you can not be afraid of change, if something is working out how you envisioned don’t give up, try rebranding, recreating, and re starting. I want the world to know Im just a girl, meaning nothing is impossible. I didn’t come from money and I didnt have a huge support system when i first started out, I literally branded myself from a dream a vision i had. I believe if you dream big enough and work hard enough you can accomplish anything you set your mind to.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Honestly, I just moved to Dallas a few months ago so i haven’t been to many places. If my best friend was in town I would definitely take her to Union Tower for the amazing views! Trulucks for the best seafood in town. Dallas museum of art, because who doesn’t love love art? Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden for a nice walk in the park & last but not least the Canva for a dip in the pool.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give a HUGE shout out to the people that has helped me in my journey thus far, My mom Lashawn Alegria & My sister Aaliyah Alegria they have been my shoulder to cry on and my back bone since the beginning they never allow me to give up on myself. J3 Productions my mother agent for giving me the opportunity to showcase my talents. Carlos Vincent for being a great mentor. Reddoor Productions, Henni Clothing, One Shot Visions, The Whitsett Agency, Jason X, In The City Magazine, Jared Wilson, Say Word Podcast, Mcafee Media, Imirage magazine. And anyone who has ever supported me and gave me an opportunity. There’s so many people I want to shout out but not enough characters.
