We had the good fortune of connecting with Artrice Weems and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Artrice, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
Never giving up! It’s easy to get down on yourself when your business isn’t pulling the numbers you goaled it for or even getting the clientele and or sales whatever it may be. It can be so discouraging but usually in those moments is when you have your breakthrough. That’s why I feel I have succeeded, I refused to give up! I know what I provide and clients see that.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a permanent makeup artist who specializes in eyebrows. I truly love what I do because I give women their confidence back through brows. It’s amazing how brows can change your life and I get to make women feel even more beautiful every day by giving them the brows they’ve always wanted

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would start out going to one of my favorite places to eat which is Super Chix(YUM) or MiCocina for some margaritas

We would visit some museums and probably go axe throwing and go to Canvas Hotel for their rooftop pool, nightlife we’d probably go downtown because all the fun spots are downtown

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Listening every morning to inspiring people such as Les Brown, Lisa Nichols, Steve Harvey and Mel Robbins.

And also my father who is always encouraging me to go after my dreams
