We had the good fortune of connecting with LaShonda Topps and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi LaShonda, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Mostly everyone wants to lose weight and look good at the same time, so Dream Tummy main factor is making sure people are healthy without always having to go to the gym or changing too much of their diet, have enough energy to complete a full work day and to have people feel/look confident in/with their body.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Dream Tummy is a lemon-water based cleanser that targets the mid-section of your body. It helps to release trapped gas, bloating issues, increases energy, helps to lose weight, and much more! Dream Tummy is not your ordinary cleanser that will have you sleeping in the bathroom, because your bowels are running off. Dream Tummy is a different product that requires you to work with your body on staying healthy, such as moderate workouts in the comfort of your home or intense workouts at the gym. I get very excited about the testimonials received on the website or our social media pages. It gives me hope that my product is exceeding expectations of customers and that the people are serious about making healthy changes. I created Dream Tummy due to personal health reasons with my own body, especially having trouble being consistent with using the bathroom. I started drinking Dream Tummy twice a week for an entire year before my product launched and I just knew at that moment I could not be the only person in the U.S.A with the same issues, plus more. Launching my business was not the easiest, given that I have a B.A. in Criminal Justice and did not know the first thing about running a business and what is required. With the help of family members who are business owners and completing seminars, I was able to create my own website, go through trial and errors of product merchandise, and also having to create my own marketing team. I have learned that you have to express your ideas out loud to the public or your supporters. I have also learned that everyone is not your targeted audience and that is okay because the people who really need Dream Tummy has shown me that I am doing something right. I want the world to know that first, Dream Tummy is for men and women and that you do not have to struggle alone about your dreams and goals look like for your body, because we are all different. I still drink Dream Tummy for energy boosts and body refreshers from a long vacation!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend came to Dallas, we would definitely go to Yard House for the drink specials. Jamaican Cook Shop in Mesquite is the best place to get oxtails, considering my best friend is from Florida. For nightlife, we would definitely go downtown to Deep Ellum or to a nightclub called Jamie’s Nightclub. The nightclub is very fun and atmosphere is great, plus they have good drink prices. Favorite area for brunch is uptown at Bread Winners or State and Allen. We would hang out at the top golf, smash rooms, and maybe run a marathon in Ft.
Worth.
