We had the good fortune of connecting with Hughneesha Brown and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Hughneesha, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The thought process behind me starting a business is generational wealth. The thought that my children and/or children’s children will not have to suffer financially like I have is part of the nourishment for my evergreen goals. I want them to be able to focus on being self-aware and building their natural talents and skills. Creating and generating their own abundance and wealth. Creating paths that help alleviate societal stress and overcoming societal norms to be the best version of ourselves mentally, physically and spiritually is what I aim for.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art. My art is painting, creating (body jewelry or topical body care), dancing and writing. Through these art forms I am able to be my most creative and authentic self. It’s evergreen and unique. The challenge I had to overcome was getting to know self. Knowing self and, that for me, I can not be categorized or put in to one box. I have many facets that generate unique ideas which I bring to life in the most creative ways. Once you meet me, use or see my work. It will all come into alignment.
My energy is extraordinary.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Whew! That’s a tough one. It mostly depends on the season and who’s coming. We all love food and scenery. So, if left up to me. I’d definitely take them to some of my favorite vegan spots. The Vegan Food House in Dallas, ITSO Vegan here in Arlington and a couple of restaurants I’ve found in Dallas. Dallas has a little of everything. From scenery, food and entertainment. That would be my go to for some fun and drinks. I’d also take them to both the Botanical Gardens in Fort Worth and Dallas along with Cedar Hill State Park. I’m very outdoorsy.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to give credit to my mother and my closest friends. My mother, because of who she is, I am who I am today. My best friends who are literally family. They know whom they are. They push me when needed, give and listen to great advice. Love and support me in all that I do. I have been blessed to attract and keep people who are amazing people themselves.
