We had the good fortune of connecting with Sara Camargo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sara, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
What makes me happy is a good balance between work, life and most importantly more time with my family. It’s so important to not get lost in making a living so that you don’t actually get to live! Time spent with my son is time I’ll never get back , so I cherish the moments and embrace his younger years.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’ve come a long way through the last 8 years. I’ve worked my way up in the fitness industry and the sales profession. In those years , I have learned a great deal about providing excellent professional customer service. I was once very shy and awkward , now I’m confident and bubbly when I speak to strangers. The climb wasn’t easy. I faced a lot of challenges along the way including time management and of course the lemons life gives us. I made the most of my experience and I left the industries to be a stay at home mom, and start my own business out of my garage as a personal trainer. Fast forward , I knew I was no longer fulfilling my own needs and dreams. I knew I needed to tap into my creative , artistic side .. I left the industry in faith and started Pop Up ‘N Chill Luxury Picnic Experiences .. on a whim might I add !

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well, we moved he just 4 years ago from Michigan. I hadn’t really gotten out of Arlington until recently and I’d have to say my most favorite place to eat drink and play would be Main Event ! Love to go as a family! But if I’m going for a girls night/day, the entertainment arts district in Dallas is hands down the best place to experience food, music, people and fun!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have a great group of people who back and support me in my life endeavors. I call these people “my tribe” . Friends and family members who have always encouraged me and believed in my visions. My mom told me as a young girl, “you can be and do anything you want to , as long as you put your mind to it. ” She believed in me when I didn’t , and her words always stuck with me through adolescence into adulthood. I realized the more I believe in my self the more so do others around me. For this I am grateful.
