We had the good fortune of connecting with Preston Freimuth and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Preston, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
At the beginning, it seemed like an impossible challenge. As soon as you take the initiative, quit procrastinating, and learn as you go along, that is when you’ll be successful.

What should our readers know about your business?
I’m a car enthusiast so I do a lot with the car community. I’ve always been fascinated with cars since I was young. I used to be the co-owner of a car club which I grew from a following on Instagram of 14 to over 1200 in 6 months. I’m onto a new venture with a few partners of mine, William Cahill, Eli Hall, and Grayson Ellis. CarXotics is a weekly car event showing in DFW with vendors and music. We plan to take CarXotics to the next level with monthly payed events. The sky is the limit. With my past venture I really learned as I went along, creating flyers, managing social media etc. I think that newfound knowledge will transfer over to this and really make something special.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love going to Dallas and Fort Worth. Places like the Perot museum, Medieval Times, and The Stockyards. Plenty of great places to eat in DFW. Pappadeaux, stone house, and Whistle Britches.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I believe my father would be the most impactful. The way I’ve been raised has geared me more towards the harsh reality of the world making me a less naive young adult unlike so many my age. Kirk has taught me how to chase after ambition, critical thinking, and sound advice on things business related.
