Meet Georgia Green: Life and Leadership Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Georgia Green and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Georgia, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
I don’t believe in work/life balance. Let me explain. When we say work/life, we are pitting work against every other aspect of our life. So, work naturally becomes the enemy. I believe work is a part of us, of what we do to execute our purpose, play in our passions, and express our personality. Instead, I believe in work/life INTEGRATION. I practice a model called the 7-elements of wellness which includes Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, Social, Spiritual, Recreational, Financial/Occupational. I feel balanced when ALL of the elements are represented in a healthy way every day.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
BEUrevolution was founded on the belief that magic happens when a person is operating fully on purpose, with passion, in all areas of life. To focus first on the person – who are you, all that your life is made of, THEN the role the person plays – spouse, parent, employee. That the more we can focus on a whole-person approach, we can create thriving communities and businesses. So often, we focus on behavior outcomes (leadership development, for example) without first addressing the inner root – what makes this person human. We are proud to be starting a revolutionary model that will change the way people see life and businesses do business. We offer life and leadership coaching for individuals and companies. For individuals, we have an accessible and affordable alternative to life coaching that’s all online for about $1/day. For companies, we developed a proprietary SaaS called MotivIQ (Motivational Intelligence) platform that helps people and companies understand underlying motivations that are scientifically backed to increase engagement (leading to higher performance and revenue), retention, and employee satisfaction in the workplace.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love this question. I practice “lay, play, and slay” – how we can balance work, rest, and fun! First, I start with exercise in nature to get creative juices flowing, and it helps with bonding, relationship building, and conflict management. So, first, I’d start of with a walk around Arbor Hills, or White Rock. For the more adventurous, I might suggest the North Shore Trail around Grapevine Lake. (PLAY) From there, grab an iced coffee to refresh and start some creative personal and professional development conversations. (SLAY) Some favorite spots are Ascension, Global Peace Factory, or Turbo Coffee. Then, we need to refuel our body and rest (LAY) a bit, so I’d hit Legacy West for great outdoor patio options to sit back, listen to music, and meet amazing people.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have learned along the way that community brings meaning to life. It’s the reason for social media, for business, for restaurants to exist, for a few examples. So, this shoutout is dedicated to all of YOU. Those who know you were meant for more, striving to be the best version of self because you know you lead by influence. You change those around you just by you being so you. To the people who reject everything society says you ought to be so you can become who you were always meant to be. You inspire me.
