We had the good fortune of connecting with Senita Nida Hills and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Senita Nida, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I think that without taking a risk you are really selling yourself short. How would you know what you are really know what you can actually accomplish. Taking a risk brought me to where I am today. I took a risk and quit my job making $17hr because it was getting in the way of me lashing.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
First and far most I’m not perfect and I show case that in my lash sets. Most lash artist focus on neat uniformed sets. Yea it’s cute and I love it but that’s not me , I’m wild and free and That’s how alot of my sets turn out. Dramatic , wild , spicy lashes is what i do that’s what sets me apart from the rest. I’m almost 3years in the industry and I can say it hasn’t been easy , you have your days where the devil tries to attack you and discourage you , slow days , doubt from Who you thought was your support system and everything. But you have to stay focus , push through it and keep going. Before I was in a shop setting I was traveling as well doing lashes and someone broke into my car and stole my whole kit. I wanted to say f*** all of this and give up but so many people believed in me and supported me everythijg was replaced within 2weeks time. God is so good because now today I’m doing 10x better than what I was before I even took that loss. ThAts why no matter what happens or who is behind you . You keep striving baby. I got here by hard work , determination , and manifestation. I promise you I wrote down a lot that’s going. On in my business now way back in 2019 before I was even lashing , I’ve always wanted my own lash line which now in stone “She Jammin”lash trays and more now available for purchase. So again I say keep going and make your dreams a reality

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Other than my house lol my favorite spots in the city to have drinks would definitely be Gloria’s cuisine hands down. To Eat I do love me a little kitchen and cocktails and to hang out i would say Dallas cab

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Until I finally took someone up on a shop offer , I was trapping out my grandmothers living room pandemic and all. If i wasn’t at home lashing I was at my hairstylist The R3up LLC house laying ladies on his couch , my makeup artist Beautebyglamourhe home doing classes or at my sister plates by kimmy house slaying lashes. Not to mention the continuous support from my good good friend Young Trotter with The House of Trotter LLC who also created the concept logo for my brand … the J with the lash is all ha lol. How can I forget my good sis April owner of Da Nail Trapp LLC who let me practice on her day i.n and out and also invested tremendously into JammedByNida. My lover who plays my assistant late night and early morning dealing with the behind the scenes. My little clients that still ride with me from 2019 until today. I love y’all the most.
