Hi Mercedes, what matters most to you?
The value that matters the most to me is integrity. Being integral helps me remain honest and accountable with myself first, and then with my family and friends.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business is Trance Meditation Co. LLC and we offer an array on online meditation classes and related products. I am most proud of Trance Meditation Co. because we specialize in serving women of color and reassuring them that it is ok to put down the super woman capes and reintroducing then to the tranquility within themselves.

Starting this business was not easy, in fact there’s nothing that’s worth having that isn’t hard. What I’ve learned in my journey is to embrace and show up everyday being authentically me, everything else will fall in place.

One key thing that I would want people to know about my brand is that it was born out of pure resilience. I started Trance Meditation Studio after the tragic lost of my younger brother. My resilience not only helped me cope with grief, it gave me the strength to help others.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would definitely take them to AT&T Discovery District in Downtown Dallas, Food Truck Lane, and Neighborhood Goods! I think that would be perfect.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my amazing tribe that has supported me through my entire journey of executing my vision for Trance Meditation Co.
