We had the good fortune of connecting with Ziah Osaghae and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ziah, what matters most to you?
The two values or principles that matters most to me is loyalty and respect. I do believe with these two values that shows somebody’s character and if you can have a long lasting friendship, relationship, business partner, etc. Without loyalty or respect the foundation of any relationship is unstable. When I think about what I want in my life and how I want people to treat me those are the two things that I value the most.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business Shotby_ Z was created to show my skills behind the camera both photography and videography. What sets me apart from others is I love what I do and I do what I love I am a camera woman which is very rare. I’m most excited about we’re photography and videography can take me I might end up in New York or am I end up in Nigeria taking pictures. How I got into photography as I used to take pictures for my sister all the time who is a model and to me it is easy because it’s something that I love to do. The lessons I’ve learned thus far is not to let people waste your time and what I want the world to know about my brand and my story is that you going to hear from me on a billboard or the biggest platform.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend is coming into town I would take her to a winery and we will drink wine and we will also go eat at true kitchen. I would also take my friend to OT Tavern when we can hang out drink and have a good time also just go sightseeing around the city.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The persons I think deserves a little recognition is my mother of course Rachel Hawkins has been there for me since day one through all my trials and tribulations. My stepdad Michael McClellan has made sure that I’ve always had somebody to help me through all my endeavors. With these two in my life has been very easy and I have always had somebody there for me whenever I need them.
