We had the good fortune of connecting with Vertis Cole Jr. and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Vertis, is there something you believe many others might not?
To limit who you use as a sounding board. People are like colours, until you mix them you will only create the mediocre.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am the Senior Pastor of Infinite People of God Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas. I began Ministry in 1997, and accepted the calling God had over my life. 24 years later I find myself doing what I love, helping people make sense of their calling, with the help of the Lord. This summer I will graduate with a degree in Biblical Studies/Christian Leadership from Southwestern Assemblies of God, Waxahacie, Texas. It has never been easy, in 2017 we founded Transition II Transformation Outreach, where we assist in Feeding of the Homeless, Shelter for Domestic Violence Victims, and the Mildred Cole Youth Center for virtual learning for youth. Along the way I was challenged with all type of road blocks, from financial to resources. What I learned is that once God gives you the vision, run with it, he will make the difference in the plans. What I would like the world to remember of me is quite simple, my life was lived as a “Difference Maker”.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My favourite place to dine would be Eddie V’s in uptown. I prefer seafood, all kinds from Gulf Oysters to Fresh Snapper. My go to spot to entertain would by far be a evening at TopGolf, or Fishing in Texoma. No matter where we end up, Sunday morning we will find ourselves at IPOGBC for worship! Lol P.S. I have to check out Tru Kitchen…

I dedicate the success of life to my beautiful wife of 12 years, Bianca J. Cole. When all else failed she motivated me to push through the birthing process of assignments.
