We had the good fortune of connecting with Brigette Danielle and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brigette, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
For my blog, I wanted to share things that I enjoyed and tips I have learned that could help others. I wanted to connect with other women and build a network based on family, beauty, fashion and healthy options.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As a blogger, I am undoubtedly surrounded by others that are amazing in their own way. I personally feel that being a plus size blogger automatically sets me apart from the majority. To get where I am today, it took a lot of long, dedicated hours and the constant reassurance that what I am doing matters. Not only to me but to those I am helping as well. Throughout my blogging journey, I have learned that no blogger is the same so I shouldn’t compare myself to any of them. I want the world to look at me in a way that shows perseverance, vulnerability and encouraging.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The first stop would be to my home where I would greet them with a full charcuterie board (something I’m dabbling in now lol). We would catch up and sip some Cabernet and enjoy a nice spread. Depending on the weather, we would definitely make a trip to the Dallas Arboretum and take in some nature. Hopefully they visit when the bluebonnets are here for some great photo pops! During the week- we would head out to Sundown at Granada followed by a trip to the Symphony.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My husband has always been my biggest source of encouragement and support. Whenever I hit a bump in the road he is there to help me get back on track.
