Meet Jenny Campbell | Social Media Influencer and Youtuber

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jenny Campbell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jenny, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
It’s funny because I never thought I would do anything like this. I loved watching YouTube and followed several other influencers, and my husband said one day, “You could totally do that.” He really encouraged me to explore the idea and helped me to work out the details. I just love fashion and makeup, and I love connecting with people, so it was really natural and fun. I had no idea it would grow to what it has, and I’m so grateful for my husband’s encouragement and support! Otherwise I never would have started.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
It’s funny to me to call what I do “art” although I know it is creativity that makes it successful. I love to create an aesthetic that makes other women feel good about themselves, and do it affordably. I love connecting with them as they recreate my looks and discover it can be easy and affordable to look beautiful and stylish. I suppose my personality is what makes me stand out from others, since it is uniquely “me,” but there are so many wonderful influencers out there doing it better than me. It’s so humbling that people want to watch what I create when they could watch anyone! I have struggled with motivation at times, been uninspired, but the amazing women I’ve met on this journey that enjoy what I do and continue to follow me always help me get back on track. I love that something as “frivolous” (as some would call it) as clothes and makeup gives me a platform to speak life and share my faith with people every day. I am so grateful for that opportunity. I have learned that creativity and the chance to do what you love is an enormous gift. I want the world to know that I did not build anything on my own strength or talent, but by Gods grace and for His purposes. It is such a blessing!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well, as a mom it’s been a while since I did anything fun that didn’t include animals and Chick-Fil A 😂 I do love the Fort Worth Zoo, Montgomery Plaza, the museum district. We love going to the arboretum in every season. As far as eating, there is so much to try in Fort Worth! We love Lucilles, Velvet Taco, Whiskey and Rye. My kids favorite place to visit is the Stock Yards, they love it if we make it to the cattle drive every year. We absolutely love living in Fort Worth, there is so much to do and see!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My husband deserves so much credit for my story! It was his idea that got me started, and it’s his constant encouragement and support that keeps me going!
