Meet Mark Neace | Leader With Purpose, Content Strategist, Board Advisor, Video Director & Producer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Mark Neace and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mark, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
I believe that you can only lead others – your family, peers, team, employees, company, clients, community – if you focus on truly serving them first. A servant leader mindset, intentionally put into action, grows relationships built on trust and respect that can result in tremendous impact.
I also believe that we have a responsibility, as business leaders, to communicate and promote our service to the causes we are passionate about. Doing so brings more attention and support to the cause, it inspires others to service, and it can improve our business along the way. A classic win-win-win outcome.
My purpose is to spark the conversation with examples and stories from my own experiences in my servant leader journey, and to guide other leaders and businesses to gain clarity and develop their story that better communicates their purpose to their people and the public.
Not only does this content mindset shift create impact in our personal and professional relationships, it builds sustainable business growth and value.

What should our readers know about your business?
Most business challenges that owners face ae the result of misaligned communication. Yet, many business owners put content in their marketing silo and never consider the opportunity to build value into their business by investing in strategic content assets that can improve their operations and sales, while also performing a marketing function. A simple mindset shift can have tremendous business impact.
Serve To Lead Media, led by 35+ year entrepreneur and producer Mark Neace, guides brands and leaders with clarity, story and purpose driven content that grows business value. We are excited to have recently launched our Clarity, Story & Purpose Analysis framework that is available as a stand-alone product or the first step in our client’s journey.
The Clarity, Story & Purpose Analysis was developed from over a thousand discovery meetings with clients and listening to their real, day to day business challenges. This framework gets to the core of how to communicate your purpose to lead sustainable growth.
Clarify Your Core Message
Align Strategy with Your Purpose
Build Your Content Roadmap
Grow Sustainable Value in Your Business
The framework starts with an in-depth 45-60 minute specially designed questionnaire followed by a 60 minute on-to-one strategy session to discuss the findings and your custom 90 Day Action Plan and clarity on how to immediately move the needle. Together, we’ll partner to create clarity where there’s confusion, alignment where there’s drift, and a strategic path forward that serves your mission.
Serve To Lead Media believes that if more leaders embrace this mindset shift, that it will have tremendous business and community impact.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I general….
Daytime activities would 2-3 of the major museums in Dallas and FTW, a few rounds of golf, great lunches, weekend strolls through Deep Ellum, Arts District, Klyde Warren Park. Evening would include live music, dinners, and speakeasy/ cigar lounge time.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’m the son of 2 preachers and a saint of a mother. My biological father died in a tragic accident on his way to serve a neighboring community, and then my mother married another preacher. They showed me servant leadership in action every single day.
Although I strayed from those ideals during early adulthood, I was fortunate to have people that recognized those qualities within me and encouraged me to live them out through service over the past 15-20 years. This includes several mentors and many lifelong friends from Scouting and Rotary.
Professionally, none of this would have happened without the very first intern opportunity given to me in 1990 by Robert Williamson with Film Crew Dallas. Secondly, my success an entrepreneur and business leader have been greatly influenced by my late 15+ year mentor and business partner, Scot Duke. Finally, I have had the privilege to travel the world and work with thousands of amazing clients and teams, and I’ve learned something from all of them along the way.
