We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniel Roundtree and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Daniel, how does your business help the community?
As a realtor, helping families Sell or purchase property allows me to help make dreams come true. Transactions involving property are usually the largest single transactions individuals will make in their entire lifetime. I take pride in helping my community understand the ins and outs of real estate. My clients become family and clients for life!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
As a real estate agent, what sets me apart from my competition is my attention to detail and my strong negotiation skills. I pride myself in being meticulous at understanding my clients needs so that I can provide first class service and results. I’ve learned that there is always a way to the closing table if your willing to understand the primary needs during the negotiation process. I take pride in helping my clients beyond closing day. That includes providing updates to home value, tax evaluation, homestead exemption details, and much more! What got me where I am today is being a realtor who actually cares about his clients and sees beyond the “transaction”. I give my clients honesty over gimmicks or unrealistic promises and its allowed my clients to feel heard while understanding the realistic outlook of the process. It definitely has not been easy! Ive had hard times and transactions that fell apart, but I always keep a smile on my face and positive outlook! I learned early to pay attention to every single detail, take detailed notes, and to communicate as often as possible. I want the world to know that Mr.Closetastic is an agent who truly wants every client to win and accomplish their real estate goal. I also want them to know that working with me always means their needs come first and that they aren’t just another transaction. I love my clients and I do everything in my power to give every one I work with the best version of me! That’s why we will get to the closing table with the results they expected!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
There are so many great food spots in Dallas and tons of fun things to do! I would definitely take my best friend to get Texas barbecue at Hutchins in frisco and then visit the frisco star. I love the Glen restaurant at the star, it’s one of the few restaurants in Dallas that offers great food and a live performances. I’d also have to take them by the fort worth stockyards to catch a rodeo and see what traditional Texas looks like. I enjoy pickleball, so we would swing by the sandy pickle or an indoor pickleball court like the grove to play a quick game. We would grab quesadillas from plomo downtown at some point and definitely go to puttshack in Addison or puttery in the colony. There’s an awesome brunch spot in forney called Nina’s brunch and breakfast, that we would definitely go to for breakfast one morning. And then if we have room for a snack, churro on top in Arlington or richardson is my go to. My clubbing days are over so you won’t see any bars on my list lol but Andretti’s, cinepolis, putt putt, top golf, bowling, and even main event or Dave n busters are always in play! Food and fun is how i roll! And On Sundays, we go to shoreline city church in garland!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The biggest source to my success is God. His guidance and love allows me to serve and love others in a way that points directly toward his example! Aside from my heavenly father, my wife & best friend has been my rock. She is my biggest motivator. She’s always ready to cheerlead or give encouragement. Im very grateful to have her.
